Cédric Wüthrich from the Berner Ölmühle carefully prepares organic almond butter (also called almond mus or almond puree) in raw food quality.
The unpeeled organic almond kernels are ground in a gentle stone grinding process below 38 degrees Celsius for 2 to 3 days to a smooth and creamy Mus. As a result, nutrients and the delicious aroma are optimally preserved.
Why we love almond butter
Almonds are not only super tasty, but contain many polyunsaturated fatty acids, protein, minerals (magnesium, calcium and copper) and vitamins B and E.
The almond butter is suitable for refining vegetable dishes, salad dressings, yogurts, desserts, ice cream, smoothie / shake and as a delicious spread.
Our tip: with 1-2 tablespoons of almond butter, 3 dl of water, a few dates and a pinch of cinnamon, you can mix a delicious and nutritious almond milk in an instant. Alternatively, you can sweeten it with agave syrup, yacon syrup or apple syrup.
