Margrit and Adolf Hartmann have been producing the Swiss sea buckthorn juice and syrup in Trans GR (Domleschg) for decades.
The vitamin C richest berries in Europe are collected wild and come from areas in the Graubünden Oberland and Valais that are difficult to access. The two donkeys "Fiona" and "Meli" help to carry the harvested berries.
After the harvest, all sea buckthorn berries are deep-frozen and fresh, cold-pressed sea buckthorn juice can be pressed continuously for the next 12 months.
