Stevia comes from southern Brazil and Paraguay and has traditionally been used there for centuries for sweetening beverages and food. Stevia is much sweeter than sugar and has almost no calories. This makes Stevia ideal for diabetics and it does not promote caries. It is the best alternative to artificial sweeteners because it has not only scarcely any calories, but also no harmful side effects and less aftertaste than existing artificial sweeteners.
SamaraNatura stevia liquid Vanilla
Our stevia is a sweetener based on steviolglycosides in liquid form. The stevia extract used contains a degree of concentration of 60% rebaudioside A. It is free from alcohol and sweetening extenders. Already few drops are sufficient to get the desired effect. 1 drop corresponds to the sweetening effect of approx. 1g sugar.
The extract is prepared by aqueous extraction from the leaves of the Stevia plant and subsequent crystallization of the stevil glycosides.
Why we love Stevia
We found Stevia always a good idea and wanted to use it more, but found it always difficult because of the aftertaste. But we are very happy to have found this stevia liquid because the concentration of the sweetness is just right and is not as often too high and thus leaves no aftertaste. So we now find it much easier to use stevia everywhere: in drinks and desserts or for dishes to reduce the sharpness somewhat.
