Our chokeberries are 100% natural, carefully processed and dried at temperatures below 42°C, without preservatives, colourings, sweeteners or other additives. Aronia berries (also known as black chokeberries) are small dark fruits that grow on shrubs of the multi-stemmed Rosaceae family. They are originally native to North America, but are now also cultivated in Europe.

In recent years, chokeberries have become popular as a superfood, thanks to a number of positive effects on health. Its second name "chokeberries" is derived from its strong mouth-drying effect, which can surprise you if you are not familiar with it. We source our berries from a Swiss chokeberry pioneer who guarantees the best quality.

Our raw, gently dried and unsulphurised aronia berries are also great in terms of nutritional value: they are a fantastic source of fibre, vitamin C and manganese. As a retailer, we are not allowed to make any claims or health promises, but there are many exciting articles on the Internet about aronia berries and their effects.

Aronia berries can be used as a snack between meals or as an ingredient in muesli.
