Apricot kernels bitter organic
Weight : 250g
Was macht unsere bittere Aprikosenkerne besonders? Blueberries (Bilberries) Organic wild collection
Weight : 250g
Wild organic Blueberries (Bilberries) - antioxidants and pleasure combined Update: All sizes (125g, 250g and 1kg bags) are available. In addition, we also have organic bilberry powder from Bosnia in our product range.  There is something magical about wild blueberries, these dark purple, almost black mini berries with a fascinating taste that grow almost unnoticed on dainty bushes in the mountain forests! And they are packed full of healthy nutrients like no other fruit - a real super fruit! And the childhood memories - hours of wandering through light coniferous forests across the blueberry bushes and eagerly collecting the little jewels. These delicious and nutritious dried wild blueberries make a great snack. They have a wide range of important nutrients and are particularly rich in vitamins C, E and B6 as well as iron, fiber and other vital substances such as resveratrol, zeaxanthin, lutein, anthocyanins and other polyphenolic compounds. Because they contain such a high amount of phenols, especially gallic acid, blueberries are known as "nerve protectants". According to researchers from Iran, this means that they can literally protect our brain from degeneration, neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. What is special about a fruit is its high iron content, which raises energy levels through the production of oxygen-rich blood cells throughout the body. In addition, dried wild blueberries contain a very high antioxidant capacity of around 50,000 µmol TE / 100g (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity). Blueberry extract skin care products are becoming increasingly popular around the world. The wide range of vitamins and minerals have been reported to help restore hormonal balance, which counteracts acne. This makes blueberries an excellent home remedy for acne. Blueberries also contain resveratrol, a natural sunscreen that can tan your skin. Wild blueberries vs cultivated blueberries They look almost the same. Both are blue, round and taste great. But what are the differences between these two berries? Blueberry has become a universal name for blue-colored berries of the Vaccinium genus, but it is good to know the difference between cultivated blueberries (often called American blueberries) and wild blueberries (European blueberries). While cultivated blueberries are grown in various locations around the world, wild blueberries grow on small shrubs mainly in the northern parts of the northern hemisphere. Wild blueberries compared to cultivated blueberries have a higher vitamin content and a much higher content of anthocyanins. The anthocyanins in the wild bilberry are visible to the eye as blue and red pigments in the pulp, which is juicy and bluish-purple. The cultivated blueberry, on the other hand, has an almost transparent white and somewhat floury pulp. The wild blueberry has been used since the 16th century, both the dried berries and the leaves. Modern interest stems in part from the use of the fruit by British pilots during World War II when pilots noticed that their night vision was better during bombing after eating blueberry jam. Why we love wild blueberries Most of the dried wild blueberries on the market have added sugar and preservatives. We prefer our 100% pure and raw food quality, with their wonderful natural taste. Our wild blueberries have a dark purple, almost black color, which indicates the quality and purity of the product. In addition, nowadays almost only garden blueberries (American blueberries) are available from cultivation, which are simply not as good and significantly less rich in vital substances than wild blueberries. Wild blueberries from SamaraNatura and Pearls of Samarkand Our wild blueberries are dark purple and quite dry and crispy, with a sweet and sour taste, fruity and very aromatic. They are 100% natural, carefully processed and dried and without preservatives, colorings, sweeteners or other unnatural additives. Different sizes and origins Organic wild-collected blueberries are very hard to come by. The bags originating from Bosnia are sold out and unfortunately the new batch had to be returned completely due to an infestation. We hope to be able to offer the new harvest in autumn 2022. In the meantime we were able to buy a small stock from Ukraine. These wild blueberries come from the Lemberg/Lviv region in western Ukraine, near the Polish border. This is the 2021 harvest, i.e. before the war. Usage of Wild Blueberries Thanks to their intense, typical blueberry taste, they are perfect as an addition to muesli, smoothies and dessert topping. For smoothie recipe, we recommend you soak the wild blueberries the night before, so they plump up and are easier to blend up with your other smoothie ingredients. They also fit well into yogurt (also vegan coconut yogurt) and honey. A real treat! Dulse Flakes Organic
Weight : 100g
Dulse - Many minerals & trace elements Update: The new batch of Dulse flakes is again from our Spanish supplier, whose Dulse flakes are saltier, a bit softer and significantly larger (1-3cm instead of 0.5-1cm) -> on the right in the picture. Dulse (Palmaria palmata) is a red algae, soft and chewy, with a distinctive taste and a rich purple/red colour. It does not need to be cooked or soaked. So Dulse is a great snack, which you can eat directly from the bag. Dulse is extremely low-calorie, fat- and cholesterol-free, in addition to minerals also rich in vitamin B6, fiber and proteins. It has the highest iron content of all sea vegetables. 40g Dulse dried corresponds to about 400g fresh Dulse. Why we love Dulse Dulse is one of the easiest seaweeds to incorporate in your diet. It has a very mild taste and adds depth and colour to any dish. It is one of the few purple foods found in our diets. Purple is the colour of spiritual awareness, the colour of the third eye. Algaran Dulse Our sea vegetables are wild harvested and hand-picked from the clean waters off North West Donegal (Ireland). They are gently dried using a cool air process, and brought to you fresh and raw. ALGAMAR Dulse from Spain The algae are from the Atlantic coast of Galicia, in northwestern Spain. The sustainably harvested, wild-growing organic algae are gently dried at low temperatures. Due to the raw food quality, the valuable ingredients are optimally preserved. Use Dulse has been traditionally harvested for generations and can be eaten straight from the package. It is also great steamed over potatoes, or toasted or grilled till crisp and eaten as a snack, with salads or other dishes. Sea Vegetables in general Sea vegetables or seaweed are wild ocean plants found on coral reefs or rocky areas, growing mainly in marine salt waters. Sea vegetables are enjoyed daily as staple and healing foods in many coastal parts of the world. Small amounts of sea veggies add a rich flavour and enhance the nutritional value of most dishes. Sea vegetables offer the broadest range of minerals of any food, containing virtually all the minerals found in the ocean! They are an excellent source of calcium, iodine and sodium; a very good source of folic acid and magnesium, a good source of iron, potassium, B2 and B5. They also contain vitamin K and trace minerals like selenium and chromium that can be lacking in our land-grown foods due to soil depletion. Regular, long-term dietary inclusion is reputed to help regulate metabolism and energy, stimulate the immune system, soothe the digestive tract, cleanse the blood, maintain healthy cellular function and support the proper functioning of the endocrine glands, especially the thyroid. Sea vegetables are a perfect substitute for salt in the diet.

Pomegranate Seeds Organic
Weight : 150g
Update: In order to promote sales, we are granting a 20% discount on the current batch (best before date 05.2025), i.e. SFR 12 instead of 15. Why consume pomegranate seeds? Not long ago, Japanese researchers discovered that pomegranates are rich in phytoestrogens, especially estrone. Estrone is a mild estrogen that is similar to the female sex hormones. The pomegranate also contains a lot of vitamin C, potassium, antioxidants and fiber. Furthermore, the pomegranate has a stimulating effect, which has a particularly positive effect on chronic fatigue, listlessness, infections and inflammation. The pomegranate contains large amounts of antioxidant secondary plant substances such as polyphenols (flavonoids, tannins). What makes our pomegranate seeds special? These premium organic pomegranate seeds are particularly dark violet, almost purple, and very rich in antioxidants. The pomegranate seeds are characterized by a red to dark purple color. During drying, the moisture in the segments is lost and the core with the fruity skin remains. The core is crispy and edible. The surrounding pulp together with the skin gives the seeds an aromatic, characteristic fruity taste. Origin and exceptional production The pomegranates are harvested by hand, one piece at a time, when fully ripe, and hand-peeled and sun-dried the same day by Silk Road Organic Foods processors. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method, which is also extremely gentle on the product. For the production of 100 g pomegranate seeds you need around 1 kg of fresh organic fruit, i.e. a ratio of 1:10! These organic Fairtrade pomegranate seeds come from a remote mountain village in the Varganza Valley in southern Uzbekistan. They mature there on trees in the mountainous regions around Samarkand. The area is largely organic and FAIRTRADE certified and is farmed by the FAIRTRADE farmers who live there. The farmers belong to a large Fairtrade community made up of 3 groups, Dustkul Bogi, Turkiston Gulba and Turob Bobo. They include around 1,000 individual farmers, along with their families. Thanks to the cooperation with Fairtrade, the farmers can offer their families a secure income and their children a new perspective. In Austria, the pomegranate seeds are pressure treated. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests. The Story of the Pomegranate The pomegranate has been cultivated for over 5000 years and is therefore one of the oldest plants known to man. The name pomegranate goes back to the Romans (lat. granae = seeds, grains; lat. granatus = granular, rich in seeds). The pomegranate has always been a symbol of life and fertility. The pomegranate has a legendary history: It probably triggered the Trojan War, in Christian culture the pomegranate is the symbol of Mary's fertility, it is also considered a symbol of life and the Egyptians put it in mummies. To this day it is considered an aphrodisiac and is a component of countless love drinks. Usage Tips Refine your muesli, your salads or use the pomegranate seeds for baking. Pomegranate seeds are also suitable as a snack and, especially in combination with nuts and cocoa beans, create an incredible taste explosion. Sunflower Lecithin powder Organic
Weight : 200g
Organic sunflower lecithin powder - contains the natural total lecithin complex SamaraNatura Sunflower Lecithin Powder Our organic sunflower lecithin powder is versatile as a natural emulsifier. Due to its unique structure, it effectively combines fat and water. Sunflower lecithin contains the natural total lecithin complex (mixture of different phospholipids) from the sunflower seeds. Phospholipids are, among other things, components of cell membranes and play an important role in our entire metabolism. The yellow sunflower lecithin is tasteless and free of gluten and carriers. In addition, it is generally GM-free because no genetic engineering is used in sunflower cultivation (in contrast to soy cultivation). Manufacture and origin The organic sunflower seeds are mechanically pressed to produce the oil. The lecithin is then isolated from the oil by CO2 extraction. The result is a powdered, de-oiled pure lecithin. This process completely dispenses with the use of solvents. Our sunflower lecithin powder is produced in China, as the world's only CO2 deoiling system is located there. How to use sunflower lecithin The sunflower lecithin has a pleasant taste and is suitable as a food additive for smoothies and muesli as well as an emulsifier. Sprinkle 1 heaping tablespoon (approx. 10g) over the muesli or add to smoothies or nut milk. Suitable for chocolate production. Can also be eaten straight. The sunflower lecithin should be protected from light and moisture (always close the bag well) and stored at room temperature. Labelling 100% EMULGATOR ORGANIC SUNFLOWER LECITHINE (E322). Allergic reaction Although it is basically allergen-free, we have received the information from a customer who has a strong allergic reaction to sunflower seeds that he also has allergic reactions to sunflower lecithin. We therefore recommend consumers who are allergic to sunflower seeds to dose the sunflower lecithin carefully or to do without it altogether. Possible alternatives would be soy lecithin or almond puree, which also contains lecithin. Packaging sizes Bag of 200g powder. Best before date The current batch has best before date September 30th, 2024.

Flaxseed Oil Organic
Weight : 100ml
Flaxseed oil from Swiss organic flaxseed: freshly and cold-pressed and unfiltered Update: Pre-order now for the next pressing on April 15th, 2024. 250ml and 500ml are filled into BPA-free tin bottles (black matt design). The 100ml remains in the familiar Miron glass bottle for several months. The next linseed oil pressing will take place on Monday 15. April 2024. Please place your pre-order by Sunday evening 14. April. Shipping will be on Wednesday 17. April with Post Pack Priority, so delivery should be on Thursday. Below you will find all other order data. Flaxseed oil is one of our favorite products because: Very tasty: Freshly pressed flaxseed oil does not taste bitter at all (in the first weeks), but rather has a slight nutty taste. Organic: Producer Jakob Bachofner's brown organic flax seeds come from their own fields in Fehraltorf. Cold pressed: Due to mill water cooling, the oil temperature remains at 28-32°C throughout the pressing. Regional: Fehraltorf is only 10 km from our warehouse in Wetzikon. Home delivery is CO2 neutral with Swiss Post. Why is flaxseed oil so healthy? With approximately 50% alpha-linolenic acid/omega 3, flaxseed oil is one of the most potent suppliers of this important fatty acid. Just 1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil covers the daily requirement of 2 g of alpha-linolenic acid for an adult. Omega-3 fatty acids are of great importance for our metabolism. They are important building blocks of our cell membranes, they have an anti-inflammatory effect, protect cells against premature aging and strengthen the immune system. You can find more interesting information about omega-3 fatty acids in our health guide. Use Fresh flaxseed oil is a real delight! Jakob Bachofner of the Oelerei presses flaxseed oil from organic flax seeds from his own fields in Fehraltorf freshly and with a press cooled with raw food grade water at 28-32°C - feel the difference. It is not filtered, but left in the refrigerator for 1 day so that the cloudy matter can settle. The flaxseed oil is then bottled, transported to the warehouse and shipped the same day. It is possible that very little cloudy material (it is a little darker) settles at the bottom of the bottle. It can be consumed without hesitation. Linseed oil goes perfectly with cold and lukewarm dishes such as salad, potatoes and muesli. It can also be enjoyed pure (1 tablespoon daily). Linseed oil is also suitable for external use on very dry skin. Linseed oil favorite recipes We ourselves have been enthusiastic flaxseed oil consumers for many years, which is why we are happy to list our favorite recipes for inspiration: Raw almond milk with a fresh apple and linseed oil Budwig-Crème-Müesli (based on low-fat quark and linseed oil) Golden milk with linseed oil Chia pudding with linseed oil Apple and cinnamon porridge with linseed oil Wholemeal bread with cottage cheese, linseed oil and sprouts Vegan mayonnaise with almond butter and linseed oil Potato salad with linseed oil Tomato and onion salad with basil and linseed oil Experiment: Drizzle the linseed oil and some salt over half an avocado. What is your favorite linseed oil recipe? Let us know and we'll be happy to add it to the list. Ordering process for freshly pressed flaxseed oil from Swiss flaxseed To pre-order, buy the flaxseed oil as usual online, send us an email to info@samaranatura.ch or give us a quick call on 044 586 27 27. On Monday morning we place our order with Jakob Bachofner from the Oelerei. He presses the flaxseed oil on Monday. Then the freshly pressed organic flaxseed oil has to rest for a day in cold storage for sedimentation (lowering of turbid matter). The bottles are filled on Wednesday morning and I immediately bring the bottles to our social logistician in Wetzikon. He sends all orders (flaxseed oil with any other items ordered) on Wednesday with Post Pack Priority (without a SFR 2 surcharge), so you should receive your order on Thursday of the same week. Freshly pressed flaxseed oil only for pre-orders Due to the sensitivity to heat and the short shelf life, we do not keep flaxseed oil in stock, but only accept pre-orders from September to June, which are then carried out once a month. In the warm months, shipping is done with cooling pads. Size variants and prices The organic flaxseed oil can be ordered in 3 different sizes: 100ml for SFR 10.- resp. from 3 pieces SFR 9.50250ml for SFR 20.- resp. from 3 pieces SFR 19.- 500ml for SFR 33.- resp. from 3 pieces SFR 31.35 Order deadlines 1th semester 2024 Sunday April 14th, 2024Sunday May 12th, 2024Sunday June 9th, 2024 Durability Shelf life after pressing is 3 months. Please always keep the flaxseed oil in the refrigerator, even before opening the bottle for the first time. This slows down the oxidation that occurs very quickly in flaxseed oil. Our flaxseed oil is specially packaged in dark violet Miron glass to protect it from sunlight and the associated premature oxidation. There are 2 options for extending the shelf life: Very modern refrigerators sometimes have a 0-degree zone. Stored there, the flaxseed oil can be kept for about a month longer, or you can freeze it, which extends the shelf life to 6 months. Once opened, the bottle should be consumed within 3-4 weeks. Important instructions Flaxseed oil and camelina oil are not the same. While flaxseed oil is pressed from flaxseed, camelina oil comes from camelina. Camelina oil has a longer shelf life, but at around 35% it has a lower proportion of alpha-linolenic acid/omega 3. Cold-pressed oils (except coconut oil) are heat-sensitive and are therefore mainly suitable for cold dishes. Toxic compounds can form when heated to high temperatures, e.g. when roasting. Nutritional values of organic flaxseed oil per 100g Energy 3475 kJ / 830 kcalFat 93g- of which saturated fatty acids (palmitic acid and stearic acid) 8g- monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid) 19g- polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid) 67gcarbohydrates 0gof which sugar 0gprotein 0gsalt 0g Compared to other oils, linseed oil has a very high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids. Depending on the seed, it is 10-30% linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acid) and 40-70% alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3 fatty acid), which can be converted by the body into DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid). Origin Switzerland, chilled pressed by Jakob Bachofner in Fehraltorf with flaxseed from our own fields in Fehraltorf ZH. New producer with pictures After our former producer unfortunately had to go out of business, we started looking for a new solution in the summer of 2021. There were various options with high-quality producers of chilled-pressed organic oils, but in the end we found the most suitable alternative in Jakob Bachofner from the Oelerei in Fehraltorf. The main reason is the short distance of just 10 kilometers between the oil production and our warehouse in Wetzikon. This enables us to deliver the flaxseed oil to you even one day earlier/fresher - it couldn't be faster. Jakob produces high-quality oils, certified organic according to the Swiss organic regulation CH-BIO-086. Here are a few pictures of the cultivation and harvesting of the flaxseed from Fehraltorf. Carob powder organic
Weight : 250g
Carob powder - made from the pods of the carob tree Update: Sale of the current 250g batch with a best-before date of 06/30/2023 with a 50% discount (CHF 4.60-. instead of 9.20). The carob powder can still be used and enjoyed for several months afterwards. The 500g bags (select on the right) are already from the new batch with best before 01/31/2024. Carob is a legume that grows on the carob tree, a wild, evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean, and has been used as a sweetener and nutritious natural snack for thousands of years. Carob was well known to the ancient Greeks, and they spread the seeds of this plant in Greece and Italy. Carob is naturally sweet and fewer sweeteners are required when used in recipes. It has a low glycemic index, is low in fat and extremely nutritious, high in calcium, protein and fiber. Benefits of carob powder Little familiar to Carob thinks it's a healthy version of (high sugar and high fat) chocolate, but it's so much more. We like to mix carob with raw cocoa for a sweet and healthy treat, because cocoa has a lot of magnesium and, compared to cocoa, carob contains three times as much calcium, a third fewer calories and only 1% fat. SamaraNatura organic carob powder Our organic carob powder from Spain is gently heated and ground to dry in order to preserve taste, color and nutrients. Due to the drying process of well over 42° C, it is no longer raw food. Due to the different needs, we offer carob powder in 2 sizes: 250g and 500g. This can be selected at the top right under "Weight". How to use Use carob powder to sweeten dishes, in desserts, smoothies, sprinkled on your muesli, as an ingredient in raw chocolate and cakes as well as in quick and nutritious snacks. How to Use ‘My Perfect Morning’ Step 1: On the evening before, soak 4 - 6 tablespoons of "My Perfect Morning" in a large muesli bowl. Then mix well with 3dl nut-milk or rice milk, so that a very thin liquid pulp is produced. The soaking promotes enzyme activation and neutralizes the natural enzyme inhibitors. This way, the best of the nutrients are available and can be absorbed more easily. Allow to stand overnight at room temperature. Step 2: In the morning add freshly cut fruits and berries (if possible in organic quality) as well as enough nut-milk and mix well until achieving a porridge like consistency is formed. If you prefer a hot meal, you can lightly heat the porridge in a saucepan, in medium heat, while stirring (please do not use microwave). Enjoy! Acai Powder Organic
Weight : 100g
Açai powder: Natural energy from the Amazon Why Consume Açai Powder? The nutrients found in Açai are a wonderful blend of antioxidants, omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, vitamins and proteins. Açai is also very popular with athletes because the berry contains 19 amino acids that stimulate muscle activity, give strength and long-lasting energy. A diet high in antioxidants helps protect and slow the aging process. In Brazil, açai has been a popular fruit for many years, used as fruit puree, in drinks, ice cream and smoothies. The natives of the rainforest have been consuming Açai for thousands of years. What makes our Açai powder special? Our Açai powder from Brazil is 100% natural with no fillers or chemicals. Due to the high fat content of the berries, long transport routes are impossible without a process to increase the shelf life of the fruit. Therefore, the berries are freeze-dried shortly after harvest and then gently ground at low temperatures to a fine powder. The ingredients are preserved as far as possible. Many of the açai powders available on the market are not pure, meaning they are mixed with fillers that reduce its nutritional value. The stronger the purple color of the powder, the more concentrated and pure it is. The shade is therefore a good indicator of the quality of the product. Our açai powder is made from 100% açai berries, with no fillers and is dark purple in colour. How does our Açai powder taste? Açai powder tastes delicious: a delicious, unusual taste! The excellent combination of omega fatty acids and the sustained energy it provides makes açai powder indispensable for us. Where is Açai powder made? Açai is a beautiful deep purple colored berry that grows on tall palm trees along the Amazon River in the Brazilian rainforest. A true gift from Mother Nature! The dark purple color comes from special pigments called anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants. Usage Tips This miracle berry can be wonderfully integrated into the daily diet. Açai powder goes well with desserts, many drinks, smoothies, yogurt and sprinkled on muesli. It tastes really good in homemade chocolate and ice cream. Agave Syrup Organic
Content: 250ml
Premium agave syrup in raw food quality What is agave? The agave is a cactus-like plant from Mexico. Agave syrup is a delicious sweetener made from the juice inside agaves that are at least eight years old. The Mexicans traditionally collected the sweet juice ("aguamiel") from various agaves in order to make sweeteners and special drinks for celebrations. Why buy agave syrup? Agave syrup is a vegan alternative to honey and has a pleasant taste, like a mixture of honey and maple syrup. It can be used in many ways as a sweetener. Only the very gently processed agave syrup like ours has a low glycemic index and is only slowly absorbed into the bloodstream. It is therefore particularly recommended for people who are sensitive to sugar. What makes our agave syrup special? Most conventional agave syrups, including those from organic farming, are made from 3-6 different agave species and have been heated up and pasteurized, as the juice of the agave spoils quickly after it has been removed. The contained healthier multiple sugars (polysaccharides, mainly in the form of inulin) are converted into simple sugars. They have lost a large part of their nutrients! Our agave syrup is obtained exclusively from the Salmiana agave, is processed very gently and at low temperatures and is therefore of the best quality available on the market. No pesticides or other agrochemicals are used in cultivation. The syrup is produced in special vacuum containers in which the water it contains evaporates at very low temperatures. The valuable vitamins, minerals and enzymes are largely preserved and available for our body. Because our agave syrup is 100% natural, it has a stronger taste and a darker color than commercially available concentrated juices. How to use in the daily diet? Agave syrup is characterized by a high, neutral sweetness. It enhances the aroma and is easily soluble in cold and warm dishes and drinks. Ideally suited for baked goods and due to the low tendency to crystallize for the production of jams and jellies. Apricot kernel oil Organic
Cold-pressed organic apricot kernel oil from Naturkostbar The organically grown apricot kernels come from Turkey. The apricot kernels are gently cold-pressed in the Naturkostbar factory in Uetendorf. The water-cooled oil press ensures that the temperature remains below 37°C. This means that the valuable ingredients in the oil are preserved and make it a special treat. This apricot kernel oil is 100% pure and contains no other oils. How to best use apricot kernel oil The high-quality apricot kernel oil refines salad dressings and dips with its lovely aroma and the typical Persipan note. We recommend storing it in the refrigerator after opening it for the first time. Apricot kernel oil is also good for skin care, be it as a fragrant massage oil or as a soothing aftersun oil. It is slowly absorbed into the skin and strengthens skin elasticity. Why not heat apricot kernel oil? Cold-pressed oils (except coconut oil) are heat-sensitive and are therefore primarily suitable for cold cooking. Strong heating, e.g. frying, can produce toxic compounds. Does apricot kernel oil contain hydrogen cyanide? Apricot kernel oil contains hardly any hydrogen cyanide. The acid from the kernels evaporates when pressed. The consumption of apricot kernel oil is harmless and an enrichment for the diet. Was macht unsere bittere Aprikosenkerne besonders? Apricot muesli raw food
Apricot muesli in raw food quality and without sweeteners Danny Schmid from Rohkost Hüsli in Bülach makes this completely unsweetened apricot muesli by hand. In addition to this, we also have your breakfast muesli and sour cherry muesli in our range. Since the apricot muesli is made from fresh organic ingredients and without preservatives in raw food quality, it only has a best-before date of 3-6 months. Why we love this apricot muesli The crunchy bite together with the nutty taste and the fruity apricots make a very tasty combination. The very subtle sweetness comes solely from the dried apricots. No additional sweetener is used! The pieces are atypically large for a muesli, but are therefore not only suitable for breakfast, but also as a fine snack in between. Apricot muesli from the Rokost Hüsli To boost the enzymes and vitamins, Danny lets the almonds sprout for 12 hours and the buckwheat for 2 days. She uses only organic ingredients out of conviction. As a small company, however, it is not certified organic, so this sour cherry muesli is not sold as organic. Astragalus Powder Organic
Weight : 250g
Why consume Astragalus? Astragalus powde (Astragalus membranaceus) is a food and is used as part of a balanced diet. For us, Astragalus is perfect on a raw diet, a vegetarian diet, and pretty much any diet. It is best to do your own research on Astragalus. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to provide any further information here, since according to Swiss and EU food law, foods are not allowed to have any properties or effects that are not legally anchored. What makes our Astragalus special? SamaraNatura sources its organically grown Astragalus roots of the highest quality from China, where they receive the Ecocert organic seal at the point of cultivation. Unfortunately, herbs from China are often heavily contaminated with pesticides; This is another reason why organic cultivation and certification are so important to us. The roots are processed gently and at a low temperature so that all components are preserved. Our tragacanth powder is processed without heat. The Importance of Astragalus Astragalus has been used and appreciated by Asian peoples for thousands of years. Also known as Huang Qi or Mongolian Astragalus, this warming root is one of the 60 essential herbs in China. Astragalus is the root of one of the most important plants in China. The herbalists of China discovered and studied it over 2000 years ago. Usage Tips We've experimented with Astragalus and Fo-Ti (many-flowered knotweed) in both hot and cold drinks. This combination is really good, tastes wonderful and gives an energy boost to the body and mind from our experience. The new batch of tragacanth powder is no longer sweet, but has a slightly bitter taste. Nevertheless, it can be stirred well into juices, smoothies, nut milk or any other beverage, whether hot or cold. For a hot drink, boil about 2.4 grams (1 teaspoon) of the ground, dried root in water for a few minutes and then brew the tea. Atlantic Kombu (Laminaria Digitata)
Weight : 40g
Atlantic Kombu Warning: Due to the high, natural iodine content, Atlantic Kumbo is not suitable for consumption. Consumer applications such as face masks are possible. Kombu (Laminaria digitata) belongs to the species of the large brown algae (Kelp) that grows in dense, shallow beds in the quiet waters of secluded bays. Atlantic kombu is a thinner, more tender variety of Japanese kombu and can be used exactly the same way. It is great roasted, fried, boiled, sautéed and marinated. Kombu is a must for all soup stocks, enriching flavour and nutrition. You should never cook beans without it as it tenderizes, shortens cooking times and increases digestibility. Kombu is a rich source especially of calcium, potassium and magnesium and it offers substantial amounts of some of the B vitamins. It also contains mannitol, a natural sugar molecule that gives it a slight sweetness and glutamic acid, an amino acid. Why we love Kombu It is a wonderful nutritious addition to any cooked dish, especially soups and beans/legumes. You can add a few strips of Kombu to bean dishes to speed up cooking time and improve the bean’s digestibility by reducing the chemicals that can cause flatulence. SamaraNatura Kombu Our sea vegetables are wild harvested and hand-picked from the clean waters off North West Donegal (Ireland). They are gently dried using a cool air process, and brought to you fresh and raw. Use To eat kombu straight from the bag tear it into strips. A salty, long-lasting chew, which gets sweeter after a while. For best cooking results, in general soak kombu in water for 10 minutes and simmer in dishes for 40 minutes. Soups – Replace chicken or beef stock with kelp stock. Simmer a 8 cm strip per litre of liquid at least 10 minutes. Leave kombu in for richer broth, or remove, chop and put back in soup. Salads – Tenderize kombu by soaking (1 hour), marinating (1–24 hours), roasting or pan-frying. Chop or crumble to bite-sized and toss with salad. Beans – Natural glutamates in kombu enhance flavours and tenderize high protein foods like beans. Add a 5 cm strip to bean cooking water, leave in at least 10 minutes. For a thick, rich bean broth leave kombu until beans are cooked. No need to add salt. Snack or Garnish – Tear or cut kelp into bite-sized pieces. Roast at 150° C for 3–5 minutes or (dry-)roast in a skillet until crisp. Sprinkle these kelp-chips on salads, grains, pasta or eat them as a delightful snack.

Baobab powder organic
Weight : 250g
Baobab – the African super fruit Why Baobab Powder? Baobab has a slightly citrusy, fruity, refreshing taste and is rich in vitamin C and the minerals calcium, potassium, iron and magnesium. Due to its favorable calcium-phosphorus ratio in combination with vitamin C, the bioavailability of calcium and iron is particularly good. Baobab is great for vegans because it's high in calcium - twice as much as milk. Effect of baobab powder? The baobab fruit has approx. 50% dietary fiber - half the particularly valuable soluble dietary fiber - and thus supports the intestinal functions and a favorable, regular digestion. Baobab also contains numerous phytonutrients that, as powerful antioxidants, help to protect cells and vessels from free radicals. What makes our baobab powder special? Our baobab powder is 100% pure, raw and chemical free. The pod contains the seeds and the naturally dried pulp. The natural fruit powder is separated from the seeds and fibers in a mechanical process. Origin of our babobab powder This superfruit is native to Africa. By spreading to the western world, distribution helps African communities reduce poverty while preserving nature. So baobab is good for us, good for Africans and good for the environment. The African baobab tree (Adansonia digitata) or baobab tree (from Arabic bu-hubub) is a characteristic part of the African savannah. It's also jokingly called the "inverted tree" because it looks like its roots reach up into the sky in a ghostly silhouette. Africans have valued this tree and its fruit for a long time and have given it various names such as tree of life and magic tree. Its thick trunk can store up to 300 liters of water, enabling the tree to survive long periods of drought. The nutritious fruit powder forms naturally in the ripe fruit pod, which also contains the seeds. Tips for use in everyday life We like the taste and use it pure with water and a little sweetener - a real treat. It can be used wonderfully as an ingredient in all cocoa and dessert creations and gives them a delicious, slightly sweet and sour note. Due to its high pectin content (approx. 25%), baobab powder is particularly suitable for recipes where binding or thickening properties are required. In addition, baobab is a natural flavor enhancer and gives every dish, whether sweet or savory, a special touch. Barley Grass Juice Powder Organic
Weight : 125g
Barley grass JUICE powder - the concentrated version Update: The barley grass juice powder is now available in a practical 1kg bag. The previous 125g, 250g and 500g sizes are also available. For our organic barley grass juice powder, the juice from young barley grass is pressed and then gently processed into powder. It is 100% pure juice powder, without any additives or carriers such as maltodextrin. What is the difference between barley grass powder and barley grass juice powder Barley grass itself contains all the good nutrients and vital substances from green vegetables in a practical, concentrated and easily digestible form. The two forms of processing into grass powder and juice powder both have their respective advantages. The main difference between grass powder and juice powder is the content of dietary fiber / fiber. In the case of barley grass powder, this is a very high 35 to 40%. Dietary fiber has a satiating effect, stimulates digestion and prevents constipation. In contrast, our barley grass juice powder only contains 5.7% fiber. As a result, the nutrients and vital substances (including chlorophyll) are available in a concentrated form. Another important difference is the taste. While the grass powder tastes like dried grass (slightly tart), flavors such as spinach and green herbs and a salty finish dominate the juice powder. Visually, both variants can be differentiated well. The grass powder has a much lighter green than the juice powder. All further information about barley grass powder can be found here. SamaraNatura barley grass juice powder Our organic barley grass juice powder comes from a pristine area of the United States, where it is harvested at the time of highest nutrient density. The producer has optimized the processing process for many years and now guarantees raw food quality, i.e. all processing takes place below 42° C. The rich green color testifies to the richness of chlorophyll (vegetable green). Why we love barley grass juice powder We love barley grass juice because it contains many valuable vital nutrients. The chlorophyll contained is also beneficial. However, not everyone has the time and desire to grow fresh grass and squeeze it into juice. Our juice powder is a good and easy alternative. Simply mix with water and you have pure barley grass juice. Use barley grass juice powder Initially increase ½ tsp daily, if necessary increase to ½ - 1 tsp 2-3 times a day. It is best to drink half an hour before meals. The barley grass juice powder goes perfectly with water and many other liquids such as Smoothies orange juice Coconut water Water kefir fresh fruit and vegetable juices Weight variants The barley grass juice powder is available in both 125g and 250g bags. The 125g version appears as standard. The weight can be changed at the top right. The black sesame seeds are considered the archetype of sesame and their nutrient density is higher than that of the golden yellow sesame seeds. Due to fluctuations in demand and harvest, the country of origin may change from time to time.
