Our coconut flour from the Philippines is made from fresh coconut meat from organic coconuts that are locally processed within three days after harvest.
After oil extraction, the de-oiled coconut meat is dried in raw food quality below 40 °C, and afterwards finely ground like ordinary flour.

Use
In baking recipes you can replace up to 30% of standard flours (containing gluten) by coconut flour. Due to its high absorbency add more liquid to the recipe. Sugars can be reduced as coconut flour has a slightly sweet taste.

The products of other providers usually have between 45% and 50% share. Significant differences are also evident in the color and taste. While hemp protein from unpeeled hemp seeds has a green color and smells clearly of hemp, our powder is yellowish and has only a subtle hemp aroma.
Use
