COCOA Almonds in Raw Chocolate
COCOA chocolate is made from raw, unroasted cocoa beans. The cocoa beans are carefully ground and conched for over 60 hours at a temperature below 45˚C. Thanks to this gentle process, many healthy nutrients and the high antioxidant content are preserved. COCOA raw chocolates contain no milk or its derivatives, such as lecithin, gluten, preservatives, flavourings or other ‘enhancers’. They are sweetened with coconut blossom sugar, which gives the chocolate its sweetness and a subtle caramel flavour. Coconut blossom sugar is also suitable as a natural sweetener because it has a low glycaemic index (GI 35). All ingredients are sourced from certified organic farms.
