Dragon fruit powder red

Product information "Dragon fruit powder red"

Dragon fruit powder (pitaya) red | sun-dried

Update 20.11.2024: Due to non-compliance with organic form regulations (timely export notification from the producer organic agency to our organic certification body), we cannot sell the new batch of sun/air-dried dragon fruit powder as organic, although it was sold to us as an organic product, from the same producer in Nicaragua and in the same quality.

Blueberries organic wild collection
Weight : 125g
Wild organic blueberries (bilberries) - antioxidants and flavour combined Update: The blueberries are available in 3 different weights (125g, 250g and 1kg). To complement our range, we also offer organic blueberry powder from Bosnia. Packed with healthy nutrients like no other fruit - a real superfruit. Why eat dried organic blueberries from wild harvesting? Great snack: delicious and nutritious Wide range of important nutrients and particularly rich in vitamins C, E and B6 as well as iron, fibre and other vital substances such as resveratrol, zeaxanthin, lutein, anthocyanins and other polyphenolic compounds Because they contain such a high amount of phenols, especially gallic acid, blueberries are known as "nerve protectors". According to researchers from Iran, this means that they can literally protect our brains from degeneration, neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. Particularly for a fruit is its high iron content, which boosts energy levels by producing oxygen-rich blood cells throughout the body. In addition, dried wild blueberries contain a very high antioxidant capacity of around 50,000 µmol TE/100g (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity). For healthy skin Skin care products containing bilberry extract are becoming increasingly popular around the world. It has been reported that the broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals helps to restore hormonal balance, which counteracts acne. This makes blueberries an excellent home remedy for acne. Blueberries also contain resveratrol, a natural sunscreen that can tan your skin. What makes our wild organic blueberries special? 100% natural, gently processed and dried (raw food quality) No preservatives, colourings, sweeteners or other unnatural additives Natural flavour: sweet and sour, fruity and very aromatic Dark purple colour (high quality and purity) and quite dry and crispy Different sizes and origins Dried organic blueberries from wild collection are very difficult to obtain. In northern countries they are also often frozen or freeze-dried. The latest batch of air-dried blueberries comes from Bosnia again and we have packed them in 125g, 250g and 1kg bags. The difference between wild and cultivated blueberries They look almost the same. Both are blue, round and taste great. But what are the differences between these two berries? Wild blueberries compared to cultivated blueberries have a higher vitamin content and a much higher anthocyanin content. Blueberry has become a universal name for blue-coloured berries of the Vaccinium genus, but it is good to know the difference between cultivated blueberries (often called American blueberries or blueberries) and wild blueberries (European blueberries). While cultivated blueberries are grown in various places around the world, wild blueberries grow on small bushes mainly in the northern parts of the Northern Hemisphere. The anthocyanins in the wild blueberry are visible to the eye as blue and red pigments in the flesh, which is juicy and bluish-purple in colour. The cultivated blueberry, on the other hand, has an almost transparent white and somewhat floury flesh. The wild blueberry has certainly been used since the 16th century, both the dried berries and the leaves. Modern interest stems in part from the use of the fruit by British pilots during the Second World War, when pilots noticed that their night vision was better on bombing missions after eating bilberry jam. Nowadays, only garden blueberries (American blueberries) from cultivation are available, which are simply not as good and significantly less rich in vital substances than wild blueberries. How to integrate them into your daily diet? Thanks to their intense, typical blueberry flavour, they are perfect as an addition to muesli, smoothies and as a dessert topping. When making smoothies, we recommend soaking the wild blueberries overnight to make them easier to blend. They also go well in yoghurt (including vegan coconut yoghurt) and honey. A real treat! Organic barley grass juice powder
Weight : 125g
Organic barley grass juice powder in raw food quality Why barley grass juice powder? Barley grass juice powder is often referred to as the ultimate superfood powder! Our 100% pure barley grass juice powder (without any additives (including non-declared additives) or carriers such as maltodextrin) is a great and simple alternative to barley grass powder, as not everyone has the time or inclination to grow fresh grass and press it into juice. Simply mix with water or another favourite liquid and you have pure barley grass juice. Health benefits of barley grass juice powder? Barley grass juice contains many valuable vital substances and nutrients. The chlorophyll it contains also has a beneficial effect. What makes our barley grass juice powder special? For our organic barley grass juice powder, the juice is pressed from young barley grass and then gently processed into powder. It is 100% pure juice powder, without any additives or carriers such as maltodextrin. Our organic barley grass juice powder comes from a pristine area of the USA, where it is harvested at the time of highest nutrient density. The producer has optimised the manufacturing process over many years and now guarantees raw food quality, i.e. the entire processing takes place below 42° C. The rich green colour testifies to the abundance of chlorophyll (plant green). Differences between barley grass juice powder and barley grass powder The two forms of processing into grass powder and juice powder both have their respective advantages. The main difference between grass powder and juice powder lies in the dietary fibre/fibre content. In the case of barley grass powder, this is a very high 35 to 40%. Dietary fibre has a satiating effect, stimulates digestion and prevents constipation. This barley grass juice powder, on the other hand, contains only 5.7% fibre. As a result, the nutrients and vital substances (including chlorophyll) are present in concentrated form. Another important difference is the flavour. While the grass powder tastes like dried grass (slightly bitter), this barley grass juice powder is dominated by flavours such as spinach and green herbs as well as a salty aftertaste. Both flavours can be easily distinguished visually. The barley grass powder has a much lighter green colour than the barley grass juice powder. You can find all the information about barley grass powder here. Tips for using barley grass juice powder in your everyday diet Barley grass juice powder goes perfectly with water and many other liquids such as smoothies orange juice coconut water water kefir fresh fruit and vegetable juices Recipe with barley grass juice powder Example: Detox smoothie 1 tsp barley grass juice powder2 tbsp dried wild blueberries or 2 tbsp wild blueberry powder 1 tsp spirulina powder Hawaii, Taiwan or Austria 1 tbsp Atlantic dulse powder or 1 small handful of dulse flakes1 large bunch of fresh corianderJuice of 2 oranges 1 banana Water as required More recipes here. Recommended intake Initially ½ teaspoon daily, increase to ½ - 1 teaspoon 2-3 times daily as required. It is best to drink half an hour before meals. Storage Store in a cool, dark and dry place. As barley grass juice powder is spray-dried, it clumps more quickly than barley grass powder, which is air-dried. The clumping is caused by moisture absorption from the air. We recommend from our own experience: Always seal the pack airtight. Unfortunately, the zip of the bag sticks over time, which is why sealing clips are very practical. Pour some of the powder into a jar with a screw cap for easier handling. Store the bags/jars in a kitchen cupboard (dark) as far away from the cooker as possible (due to moisture during cooking). We do not recommend storing in the fridge, as condensation would occur. A constant room temperature is ideal. Nutritional values of barley grass juice powder per 100g (portion 1 tsp = 2g) Energy value 1351kJ/323kcal (29kJ/7kcal)Fat 1g (0.02g)of which saturated. Dulse powder organic
Weight : 100g
Atlantic dulse powder (ragweed, red algae) in organic & raw food quality In order to present the different dulse variants more clearly, we have now recorded the dulse flakes, dulse leaves and dulse powder (this article) as separate articles. The powder is the easiest variant for the Detox Smoothie. Atlantic dulse or ragweed (Palmaria palmata) is a red alga, soft with a bite and a rich purplish reddish colour. It does not need to be boiled or soaked. So dulse is a great snack or an aromatic topping for potato and lentil dishes as well as for salads. Dulse has also become popular as an ingredient in Detox Smoothie in recent years. Dulse is extremely low in calories, free of fat and cholesterol, and rich in vitamin B6, fiber and proteins in addition to minerals. It has the highest iron content of any sea vegetable. 10g dried dulse corresponds to around 100g fresh dulse. Why we love Dulse Dulse is one of the easiest sea vegetables to use. It tastes mild and spicy and adds flavor and color to any dish. It is also one of the few purple colored foods and purple is the color of spiritual consciousness, the third eye. In order to increase availability, we have been working with two different producers for a few years. Irish dulse The kelp is wild collected in the west of Ireland at low tide and harvested by hand. With the help of a cold air drying system, the organic algae are dried very gently and in raw food quality. Variants: Due to the different amounts consumed, we offer Dulse powder in 100g and 250g bags. the larger bag is approx. 16.5% cheaper. Use dulse Traditionally harvested for generations, dulse can be eaten straight from the bag or used as an ingredient in smoothies. Dulse is also suitable steamed over potatoes or roasted until crispy as a snack or with salads and other dishes. As raw food directly from the bag or with salads (can be rinsed beforehand if necessary). In soups and stews, ideal with legumes and grain dishes. Add towards the end of the cooking time. Varying consistency (bite resistance) The consistency (bite firmness) of the Dulse leaves and flakes can vary depending on the batch and the season. This can be due to the time of harvest or the development of the individual plants at the time of harvest. Dulse algae are wild plants. In general, harvesting takes place shortly before flowering, so that the plants are still young enough to be sufficiently tender. Longer soaking or heating (cooking) reduces the firmness to the bite. Ingredients 100% dulse (palmaria palmata)** from certified organic origin Important instructions Due to the high mineral content, we recommend a daily ration of 5g. Due to the iodine content, particular caution is required for people with thyroid disorders. In these seaweeds, due to processing, there may be parts of crustaceans as well as grains of sand. Therefore, please check the leaves/flakes briefly before consumption. Sea vegetables contain almost all of the minerals and trace elements that the sea has to offer! In general, sea vegetables are an excellent source of calcium, iodine and sodium, a very good source of folic acid and magnesium, and a good source of iron, potassium, vitamins B2 and B5. Spirulina powder Hawaii
Weight : 125g
Spirulina powder - the high quality original from Hawaii What is Spirulina? Spirulina is a unicellular, thread-like blue algae and one of the first life forms on this planet. Richer in high-quality protein (contains 18 amino acids) than any other food, the microalga also has an abundance of vitamins, minerals, important antioxidants such as SOD and phycocyanin, polysaccharides and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. Spirulina is at the forefront of the nutritional revolution. With its rich composition and the ability to grow even under unfavorable conditions, the microalgae has great potential to become a food source that will help feed the world's population. When we integrate spirulina into our diet, we are helping to resolve the food crisis. Effects of spirulina on health? Spirulina is a valuable food. The alga is incredibly rich, a "whole food". It is believed that it contains all the vital substances that the human body needs. The high density of vital substances brings vitality and well-being. The antioxidants can intercept free radicals and highly reactive oxygen compounds, so they are important for the maintenance and function of the cell. The detailed nutritional values are given below. What makes our spirulina powder special? Our Spirulina Pacifica has been cultivated in Hawaii for over 25 years and is considered one of the highest quality spirulina in the world. The spirulina is dried very gently in a special, oxygen-free drying system so that more nutrients and enzymes are retained - e.g. over 40% more ß-carotene and over 75% more zeaxanthin - than is possible with other conventional drying systems. Spirulina Pacifica is grown in 20 cm deep, open ponds, a few hundred meters from the Pacific. To fill the ponds, fresh water is mixed with sea water from a depth of 600 m, which is rich in minerals and trace elements. The other quantitatively most important substances for cultivation are baking powder (sodium bicarbonate) in food quality and carbon dioxide. Food grade fertilizers are also used. Paddle wheels move the water to provide the algae with even exposure to sunlight for optimal growth conditions and nutrient uptake. The Hawaiian spirulina is grown without pesticides and herbicides and does not contain any genetically modified organisms. Our Spirulina is called Spirulina Pacifica and is a selected strain of Spirulina platensis, which has developed over many years of cultivation in Hawaii. Spirulina Pacifica has been extensively analyzed by molecular biologists from the University of Hawaii. They identified new enzymes that were not found in other Spirulina platensis strains. Tips for use in everyday diet Most often the powder is mixed with fruit and vegetable juices. Spring water is also very good and promotes maximum absorption. Spirulina can also be added to food like a spice to avoid loss of nutrients if it is only slightly heated. Spirulina has a unique taste that mixes well with almost anything. If you are not used to the taste of green foods, it may take some getting used to at first. If you find that your energy levels are running low as the day progresses, take some spirulina with water and watch your body feel 1-2 hours later. You will be amazed. Consumption recommendations Beginners and children: 1-2 g per dayAdults: up to 3g per dayIt is advisable to start with 1 teaspoon (5 g) or a little less and gradually increase the intake up to 10 g (1 heaped tablespoon) to avoid indigestion. Taking 1 teaspoon an hour before meals can curb appetite. The dry powder absorbs water from the air, so the package should be tightly closed and stored in a cool, dry and dark place Complementary product recommendations We recommend taking spirulina together with chlorella in a ratio of 2:1. Carob powder organic
Carob powder - from the pods of the carob tree Carob is a legume that grows on the carob tree, a wild, evergreen tree native to the Mediterranean, and has been used as a sweetener and nutritious natural snack for thousands of years. Carob was well known to the ancient Greeks, who spread the seeds of this plant in Greece and Italy. Why consume carob powder? People who don't know much about carob think it's a healthy version of (high-sugar, high-fat) chocolate, but it's so much more. We like to mix carob with raw cocoa for a sweet and healthy treat, because cocoa has a lot of magnesium and compared to cocoa, carob contains three times as much calcium, a third less calories and only 1% fat. Carob is naturally sweet and fewer sweeteners are needed when it is used in recipes. It has a low glycaemic index, is low in fat and exceptionally nutritious, rich in calcium, protein and fibre. What makes our carob powder special? Our organic carob powder from Spain is gently heated and ground for drying in order to preserve its flavour, colour and nutrients. Due to the drying process at well over 42° C, it is no longer raw food. Due to the different requirements, we offer carob powder in 2 different sizes: 250g and 500g. These can be selected at the top right under "Weight variants". Using carob in everyday life and for great recipes Use carob powder to sweeten dishes, in desserts, smoothies, sprinkled on your muesli, as an ingredient in raw chocolate and cakes as well as in quick and nutritious snacks.
