Creme de Carob from Naturkostbar - the chocolate spread alternative
Creme de Carob is a delicious spread based on cashew butter and carob. It can also be used for desserts or as a chocolate substitute for snacking.
Our Creme de Carob is 100% plant-based, 85% raw food and is produced in a stone mill process at 42°C.

Hand-cracked organic cashew nuts form the basis for this treat. These are slowly ground in a traditional stone mill for 48 hours until they have a wonderfully fine and creamy consistency. This very gentle processing preserves the valuable nutrients and natural flavour.
Creme de Carob is sweetened with coconut blossom sugar and flavoured with almond oil, carob powder and vanilla.
Use
Enjoy Creme de Carob as a spread on bread, together with fresh or dried fruit and as a delicious ingredient for desserts or ice cream. Carob fans enjoy a spoonful of crème de carob in the evening instead of chocolate.
Tip: Mix 1 tablespoon of crème de carob with 3 litres of almond milk or another nut milk of your choice - it tastes simply wonderful!
Creme de carob does not need to be kept in the fridge unless you want a firmer consistency. On the other hand, it becomes liquid from around 30° C.
Quality
All ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation. The raw food content is "only" 85% because the coconut blossom sugar used for sweetening is not raw food (not possible due to the production process).
