Fo-Ti Powder Organic

Product information "Fo-Ti Powder Organic"

Fo-Ti powder – Ancient Chinese tonic (100% natural)

Fo-Ti is a very popular and highly prized plant in China. Fo-Ti powder is made from the tuberous root of the plant, which grows in the mountains of central and southern China. Along with the goji berry, it is one of the most popular natural products.

Fo-Ti is also known as‘He Shou Wu’   , which literally means ‘Mr He with black hair’, referring to an ancient story in which a Mr He was able to restore his vitality, sexual potency and youthful appearance by consuming the plant. Millions of men and women in the Far East use He Shou Wu; they take it for its invigorating properties.

Why consume Fo-Ti?

The tea has a slightly sweet, earthy flavour and is truly excellent, even as iced tea! If you still don’t like Fo-Ti tea, you can also mix the root powder into your favourite drink. We particularly enjoy drinking Fo-Ti tea during stressful times.

What makes our organic Fo-Ti (He Shou Wu) powder special?

Our Fo-Ti is processed using traditional methods and is therefore not a raw food product. It is made by slicing the roots shortly after harvest and boiling them in a black bean broth. The roots prepared in this way are then dried and ground into a fine powder. The powder is 100% organic Fo-Ti powder. Some producers also add soya sauce during the cooking process. However, this is not the case with our Fo-Ti powder.

Fo-Ti has been produced in this way for around 1,500 years. This method of preparation gives the root its particularly energising properties.

How to use Fo-Ti powder?

Half to one teaspoon of powder twice daily, in the morning and in the afternoon. You can mix the powder with hot water or add it to juices, smoothies and other drinks. It also goes well with desserts.

Fo-Ti is considered particularly safe in Asia and is suitable for long-term use. Mild digestive disturbances, characterised by loose stools, may occur when using Fo-Ti. However, a reasonable amount rarely leads to such an effect.

Goji Berries Organic
Weight : 250g

Goji berries - the super berries (100% natural) For thousands of years, goji berries have enriched the diet of the inhabitants of the Himalayan regions and energised them. Goji berries support a happy and active life, which is why goji berries are also called lucky berries in China. Why eat goji berries? The delicious bright red goji berries (Lycium) are one of the most nutritious fruits on the planet. The goji berry is not only a true superfruit, but it also tastes delicious and can be consumed very easily and in many ways. They are a source of complete protein with 18 amino acids, contain up to 21 trace elements, B vitamins, polysaccharides and much more. Gojis have more vitamin C than oranges, more beta-carotene than carrots and more iron than a steak! What makes our goji berries special? Our goji berries are grown in the fertile valleys of Ningxia Province in China without the use of pesticides and agrochemicals. There, on their native soil, the berries ripen on the bush, are harvested in the summer months and dried at low temperatures to preserve as many nutrients as possible. The berries are dried to a water content of 10-14% for a soft texture and can be rehydrated by simply soaking if required. Our pure goji berries are raw food quality, vegan and organically grown. How to use goji berries? Goji berries have a mildly spicy flavour that is slightly sweet and sour. They are similar in shape and texture to sultanas and like sultanas, goji berries can be eaten on their own or used as an ingredient in muesli, mixtures of nuts and other dried fruits, whole fruits and desserts. You can also add the berries to tea, juice, smoothie or soup, or make your own goji juice by soaking the berries in water. You can be creative with this delicious superfood and let your imagination run wild. Recommended amount: about 10-30 grams per day. The locals who grow the berries eat a handful every day. Dried goji berries can be kept for well over a year if stored correctly. Note: A common misconception about superfoods and herbs is that there is a standard dosage. We believe that the right amount for an individual depends on their size, sensitivity, age, gender and other factors that make them unique. Organic Jujube 1
Jujube / red date berries organic
Weight : 250g

Organic jujube with stone from wild collection in premium quality Update: The new batch of jujube will be packed on 29 May at the latest and will be available again from then. Attention: These are whole jujubes with stone. Be careful when eating! Jujubes belong to the botanical family of buckthorn plants and have been cultivated in China for over 4000 years. There are at least 400 varieties of jujube. Although they are sometimes referred to as red dates, Chinese dates or Indian dates, they are not related to dates and grow on relatively small trees, Ziziphus jujube, which thrive in extreme temperatures. Jujubes are brown-red on the outside and beige on the inside, with a crispy, edible skin and a sweet flavour like a mixture of dried apples, pears and dates with a marshmallow texture. Why consume Jujubes? Jujubes contain a wide range of different nutrients, including 18 of the most important amino acids and magnesium, potassium, copper, niacin, calcium, manganese, phosphorus and iron. They contain high amounts of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system and fights infections. This is possibly the reason why they have been used for thousands of years in many cultures as a tea for sore throats, for example. Test the effect of a jujube tea if you have a cough or sore throat. You can find the recipe in the Recipes tab. The flavonoid apigenin (also found in camomile, thyme and red wine) contains antioxidants and can have a positive effect on the liver, digestion and allergies. It is also said to be anti-inflammatory. What makes our wild organic jujubes special? Our red dates come from certified organic cultivation in north-west China. This is where the flavour and special ingredients develop well in the warm and long summers. The jujubes are carefully harvested and dried at below 42°C by gentle solar drying and then sorted by hand. Jujube is a super delicious fruit with a unique texture that is extremely rare to find. It is not too sweet and is an ideal, healthy snack. How to use jujubes? We recommend these interesting jujube berries, which are a little less sweet than other dried fruits, as a snack between meals. Dried jujubes can be used instead of dates or apples in recipes. Jujubes can also be used as a tea (see tab Recipes). Recommendation: Soak the jujube in water for 2 hours. This makes them softer and slightly sweeter. Organic Astragalus (100% natural) Why is astragalus consumed? Astragalus powder (Astragalus membranaceus) is a foodstuff and is used as part of a balanced diet Perfect for a diet with a high proportion of raw foods: for a vegetarian diet and, in fact, for any other diet Popular for its immune-boosting properties: it can strengthen the immune system and, ideally, protect the body against infections People with inflammatory conditions value the anti-inflammatory properties of astragalus Astragalus may help to improve physical stamina and reduce fatigue. It is also often used as a natural stimulant Anti-ageing superfood: Known for having a positive effect on skin elasticity What makes our astragalus special? We source our top-quality, organically grown astragalus roots from China, where they are awarded the Ecocert organic certification at the point of cultivation Unfortunately, herbs from China are often heavily contaminated with pesticides; this is another reason why organic cultivation and certification are so important to us The roots are processed gently at a low temperature to ensure that all their active ingredients are preserved. Our astragalus powder is processed without the use of heat The importance of astragalus Astragalus has been used and valued by Asian peoples for thousands of years. Chinese herbalists discovered and studied it over 2,000 years ago. Also known as Huang Qi or Mongolian astragalus, this warming root is one of the 60 fundamental herbs in China. Astragalus is one of the most important plants in China. Tips for use We have experimented with astragalus and Fo-Ti (multiflorous knotweed) in both hot and cold drinks. This combination is really good, tastes wonderful and, in our experience, gives the body and mind a boost of energy. The new batch of astragalus powder is no longer slightly sweet, but has a slightly bitter taste. Nevertheless, it can be stirred into juices, smoothies, nut milk or any other drink, whether hot or cold. For a hot drink, boil about 2.4 grams (1 teaspoon) of the ground, dried root in water for a few minutes and then brew the tea. Camu Camu powder organic

Average rating of 5 out of 5 stars

Camu Camu powder organic

Camu Camu (100% natural) powder with 15% vitamin C content Why consume camu camu powder? Camu Camu contains 2-3g of vitamin C per 100g of fresh fruit and around 10-12g per 100g of dried powder. This may not seem like much compared to synthetic vitamin C supplements, but the vitamin C in camu camu is a naturally occurring, highly bioavailable form and works synergistically in the body to maximise its benefits The camu camu fruit has the highest documented natural vitamin C content of any food on earth Compared to oranges, Camu Camu provides 30-60 times more vitamin C, 10 times more iron, 3 times more niacin, twice as much riboflavin and 50% more phosphorus! We have found that Camu Camu energises, builds and improves mood. It helps us to stay active and in a good mood throughout the day. A pretty amazing effect for such a small berry We all know about the high health value of vitamin C, and since camu camu exists, we can completely do without artificial, synthetic forms. For people like us, who are always on the lookout for what nature has to offer, this is a blessing The berry is 100% natural and a powerful, highly concentrated food Due to its natural origin and in combination with other vitamins, minerals, bioflavonoids and amino acids, the vitamin C contained in camu camu is fully absorbed by the body, which is not the case with synthetic vitamin C What makes our camu camu powder special? SamaraNatura Camu Camu grows wild in the Peruvian Amazon. The berries are harvested directly in boats equipped with freezing systems. The boats travel along the waterways of the Amazon, where the fruit is picked and shock-frozen when fully ripe. The fruit is then thawed, peeled, liquefied and spray-dried in a processing plant The resulting powder is pale pink to yellow-brown in colour and contains powerful ingredients. We receive our camu camu in the form of a pure, unadulterated powder with an orange-light brown colour It takes around 15kg of berries to produce 1kg of powder, which contains 10-12 per cent vitamin C by weight. Therefore, you only need a small amount to get an effective dose of antioxidants Camu camu powder: frequently varying vitamin C content We would like to point out that the vitamin C content of camu camu powder varies greatly. For example, there are also camu camu powders with only 5-6% vitamin C. When making a comparison, pay attention to the vitamin C content, as the lower the content, the cheaper the product should be. Influence on the sustainable development of the Amazon basin We also like the fact that the growing popularity of camu camu contributes to the sustainable development of the Amazon basin and helps the locals to maintain their traditional lifestyle. How to use camu camu powder? Like other superfoods, camu camu is very easy to use. Simply mix the powder into your morning smoothie or an afternoon pick-me-up drink. Camu camu has quite an acidic flavour, although it does not have an acidifying effect on the body and is gentler on the stomach than synthetic ascorbic acid. It therefore tastes best when mixed with other ingredients. Add about a quarter to half a teaspoon (2-3g) to juices, smoothies, ice creams, raw desserts or simply in your drinking water. It's a great way to balance the sweetness of fruit smoothies and desserts. Tip: Camunade is a refreshing drink that gives you a good vitamin C boost. Simply sprinkle a teaspoon of Camu Camu into a glass of cold water (sparkling or still), add a squeeze of lime juice and some sweetener (e.g. agave or yacon syrup) and shake briefly. You can increase the daily amount if necessary (spread the intake throughout the day), but diarrhoea symptoms indicate an excessive intake of camu camu.
