Cacao powder Criollo Organic
Cacao powder Criollo - Low in fat with 10-12% cocoa butter content Our raw cocoa powder originates from the precious cocoa sauce Criollo and has a delicious, full chocolate taste. It is made from unroasted cocoa beans and contains up to twice as much antioxidants as conventional cocoa powder. The gentle processing at low temperatures preserves vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants which can be absorbed so optimally by the body. Cocoa has all the benefits of chocolate, but without the undesirably high sugar content and the additives of commercial chocolate. Raw cocoa has an abundance of antioxidants and the combination of serotonin, dopamine, anandamide and phenetylamine (PEA) illuminates our mood and creates feelings of wellbeing and joy in us. Cocoa is also rich in magnesium. Our cocoa is grown by small farmers in the Amazon rainforest under semi-natural conditions. Why we love Cocoa powder The cocoa bean is an impressive food given to us by Mother Nature. It was regarded by the Aztecs as a gift of God and was used not only as a sacrifice, but also as a means of payment. It has been found that raw cocoa contains about 300 substances and is one of the foods with the highest content of antioxidants! Cocoa can therefore help to protect our cells from free radicals and highly reactive oxygen compounds. They are important to maintain and function the cell. Cocoa has the highest magnesium content of all foods. Magnesium is a component of bones and teeth, plays an important role in energy metabolism and is essential for a normal muscle function and for energy metabolism. Magnesium also plays a role in the skeletal structure and is important in the transmission of stimuli in the nervous system during muscle contraction. Cocoa beans contain a combination of substances that trigger feelings of wellbeing and joy in us. SamaraNatura organic Cocoa powder Criollo Our cocoa powder is made from the Peruvian precious cocoa variety Criollo, one of the world's rarest and best cocoa varieties, and comes from a cooperative in Peru, which dispenses with the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers and supplies the largest raw materials stores in the United States and Great Britain. To prepare the powder, the uncooked noble cocoa beans are first ground. The dark-brown viscous cocoa mass produced in this way is compressed by cold pressing to form a cake from which the liquid golden yellow cocoa butter slowly drains. The remaining "cocoa press cake" is subsequently finely ground and sieved through. This process does not require any chemicals, additives or extraction solvents and produces a fine, soft powder with a full, wonderful chocolate flavor. The quality of our organic, fair trade certified Criollo cocoa is of great purity and free from mycotoxins, mold and yeast, and prevents you from experiencing this nervous tension that is associated with the consumption of caffeine-containing foods and drinks. Use Mix cocoa powder to your muesli, smoothies, (hot) milk drinks, protein drinks and teas. As an ingredient for all delicious chocolate creations and desserts. Coconut blossom sugar organic
Coconut blossom sugar – Deliciously sweetener Coconut blossom sugar is derived from the blossom nectar of coconut trees and has a wonderful caramel-like flavour. It is a great, mineral-rich alternative to cane sugar and contains a lot of potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron. Moreover, a natural source of vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, C and amino acids (especially glutamic acid). Coconut sugar is extremely low glycaemic (GI=35) and thus provides a slow release of energy and protects blood glucose levels. This is promising news for those concerned with health issues such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, cancer, and gallstones. Our coconut palm sugar is made from 100% coconut nectar from Coco Nucifera. For the health conscious consumers and diabetics, it can be considered to be one of the best sweeteners. Why we love Coconut Sugar SamaraNatura coconut palm sugar tastes very similar to brown sugar, but better! It has a rich, sugary, sweet caramel flavour that enhances the flavour of whatever you use it in. Many chefs praise how coconut sugar made their culinary treats more flavourful and delicious. Best of all, coconut sugar has a much lower glycaemic index compared to other sweeteners, which means it produces a slow energy release, which sustains the human body through your daily activities without regular sugar highs and lows. And we love the fact that this sweetener is one of the few truly sustainable ingredients in the world! In terms of people, health and environment, coconut sweeteners provide benefit every step of the way. Lifting communities out of poverty, bringing much needed nutrients into the human body in a mode (sweets) that often does just the opposite, and in preserving rainforest, protecting fragile tropical biomes and indeed promoting the return of devastated land back to balance. SamaraNatura Coconut Sugar Our coconut blossom sugar is 100% natural, organic, unbleached, free from additives and artificial flavouring. Only sap from coconut trees is harvested, this is not palm sugar where other palm varieties would be used and compromise the exquisite quality. Our coconut sugar is a sustainable product and supports local communities and families in Indonesia. Please note that some palm sugar on the market are also mixed with cane sugar and other malt-based ingredients. Our coconut sugar is pure, unadulterated coconut palm sugar made from 100% coconut nectar from Coco Nucifera. Coconut palm sugars are not produced from the same palm species as is used for the production of palm oil. Our granulated coconut palm nectar is not raw. By raw, we mean processed at temperatures under 42°C. We prefer to have higher quality and let remove as much moisture from the coconut sugar as possible. This results in a drier final product if compared to other coconut sugars in the market. We feel this allows more flexibility for the end user and means you are not buying water weight. Use of Coconut Sugar Coconut sugar melts easy in hot and cold beverages, is delicious in desserts, smoothies, and pastries. A small spoonful of our rich caramel coconut sugar is a healthy treat to overcome cravings and gives instant energy. Cocnut sugar can be used 1:1 as a replacement for cane sugar in any recipe. Cacao butter Criollo Chips organic
Organic Cacao butter Criollo Chips Update: Abverkauf der aktuellen Charge mit MHD 31.05.2024 für CHF 1.- statt 18.-. Die Kakaobutter ist auch danach noch mehrere Monate einwandfrei geniessbar. Why buy cacao butter chips? Cacao butter is the solid form of the pure oil from the cocoa bean. The cocoa bean is an amazing food given to us by Mother Nature. It was viewed by the Aztecs as a gift from God and was used not only as an offering but also as a means of payment. It is estimated that raw cacao contains more than 300 substances and is one of the foods with the most antioxidants. It enriches many dishes with a wonderful, sensual chocolate aroma and is also ideal for skin care. What makes our cacao butter Criollo Chips special? Our cacao butter is 100% pure and raw food quality. Grown in Peru. No chemicals are used in cultivation or processing. This cacao butter is the pure, golden oil from cacao beans. Our cacao butter is made from the particularly fine and rare fine cacao variety Criollo. Fine cacao varieties only make up 5-10% of global cacao production. They grow under similar, often almost natural conditions, as they cannot tolerate direct sun and thrive next to other, high rainforest trees. Forestero industrial cacao, on the other hand, is usually grown in monoculture plantations. In contrast to conventional products, our cacao butter is never heated above 37°C and thus has the same quality as raw butter. Use of cacao butter Criollo chips in dishes / for recipes As a high-quality fat, cacao butter enriches smoothies, desserts and ice cream in particular with a wonderful, sensual chocolate aroma. Ideal in combination with cacao paste or cacao powder for fine chocolate creations. Raw cacao butter has a wonderful, delicate chocolate aroma, is versatile and melts in any type of recipe at approx. 35°C. Use of cacao butter Criollo chips for skin care Cacao butter is also suitable for external use as a valuable skin care product. Due to its high content of antioxidants and skin-protecting substances, cacao butter is a natural "fountain of youth" for the skin. With a melting point just below body temperature, you can simply slide a piece of cacao butter over the skin without the need for any additives. Cacao butter nourishes, is well absorbed and gives dry skin a long-lasting, supple feeling. And it has a sensual, aphrodisiac scent. A truly sensual oil with a gently soft structure and a mildly floral citrus aroma. Unfortunately, cacao butter can hardly develop its precious effect in most conventional cosmetic products. This is due to the small amount, the processing at too high temperatures and the addition of chemical additives in skin care products. In contrast to many, even expensive, cosmetic products that contain cacao butter, our raw cacao butter has been processed or mixed without synthetic and harmful chemicals. This way, raw cacao butter can fully develop its precious effect on the natural beauty of our skin. Info: Only chips on offer Due to the demand, we only offer Criollo cacao butter as chips. These chips (also called coins, drops) are of the same quality as the fragments previously offered and are also made from Criollo cacao beans from Peru. The butter chips are easier to use / dose because they are always the same size. Size variants We offer cacao butter Criollo Chips as standard in 250g and 500g bags. Do you need large quantities? We are happy to fill 5kg or 10kg bags on request. Cedarnuts (Siberian Pine nuts)
Cedar Nuts – A Nature's Real Treasure For centuries native Siberians have always appreciated the Siberian cedar tree (pinus sibirica) as a source of valuable wood, natural remedies and tasty, nutritious kernels in the pine cones of the tree. Cedar nuts (also called Siberian pine nuts) contain about 55% valuable unsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid as well as the rare pinol-/pinolenic acid. They are rich in tocopherols (vitamin E) as powerful antioxidants and high-quality proteins (about 17%). Furthermore, cedar nuts contain many minerals (most notably magnesium, potassium, phosphorus), trace elements (copper, zinc, manganese), vitamins (K and B) and flavonoids. More than 200 years ago, the German natural scientist Peter Simon Pallas wrote about the healing effects of cedar nuts. They reduce fatigue, boost energy, rejuvenate the body and increase potency. Cedar nuts taste like pine nuts, but slightly sweeter. Our cedar nuts are not heat- treated in contrast to almost all other pine nuts available in shops. Why we love Cedar Nuts The Siberian cedar, is a real treasure of Siberian nature, forming vast areas of pristine forests throughout Northern Russia. These huge, magnificent trees typically reach 40 meters tall. The trees grow slowly and the first nut-bearing cones only appear once the trees are about 30 years old. Siberian pines are some of the longest-living trees ranging from 300 to 800 years old! Throughout its long life span, the evergreen cedar captures the rays of cosmic light energy and stores it in its millions of needles.  Already thousands of years ago Siberian people appreciated the properties of the cedar tree, which they called "the Eternal". They used the brushwood  to prepare a healthy drink, the resin for healing wounds and ulcers, and the cedar nut and its oil were taken to help cure many diseases and overvcome the long, severe winters of Siberia. Nowaday scientists in Russia and around the world have been exploring the properties of the cedar nuts and its oil. Research showed clear effects on gastritis, heartburn and dysplasia (cancer prestages) in stomach and esophagus, improved gall bladder function, cholesterol-lowering effects and positive impact on blood sugar levels. Siberian pine nuts and oil are also beneficial for the care and regeneration of the skin, the oil is used in skin diseases such as eczema. SamaraNatura Cedar Nuts Virtually all pine kernels sold in the shops are heat-treated to preserve them. Our cedar nuts from Mongolia are raw and a bit sweeter and lighter and fantastic just about any way you choose to use them. We recommend to  keep them refrigerated. Use Cedar nuts taste great as a snack by its own. You can add them to trail mixes with goji berries and cacao nibs or use them on your salads, in mayonnaises, creams and milks. They will add a little elegance and sophistication to your cuisine.

Vanilla powder Bourbon organic
Real bourbon vanilla powder from Madagascar Update: Due to various customer inquiries, we have added the 25g vanilla powder from Naturkostbar to our range as a supplement to the 15g Rapunzel. On the right side (dropdown) you can choose the different variants. Vanilla is the fruit of a species of white orchid that is native to Mexico and has spread to many tropical countries over time. Vanilla is now one of the most sought-after spices and is also known as the "queen of spices". The cultivation and processing of vanilla has always been time-consuming because a lot has to be done by hand. In addition, the available space is limited and demand is constantly increasing. All of this leads to vanilla being one of the most expensive spices in the world today. Unfortunately, real bourbon vanilla powder from Madagascar has become a rarity because the severe floods in Madagascar in 2016 and 2017 resulted in major crop failures and long-term damage to crops. You can find information on this in the NZZ online article, among other things. While the much cheaper synthetically produced vanillin consists of only one substance, the special taste of real vanilla is a harmonious composition of almost 200 individual substances! Real vanilla therefore not only has a unique taste and enticing aroma, it is also healthy. It was considered and cultivated by the peoples of Central America for centuries as a remarkable gift from nature. The pharmacies of the 18th century carried it as a health remedy in the form of powder, infusions and tincture. Use With its unique range of aromas, it can be used in a variety of ways for all sweet dishes, such as dessert sauces, ice cream, smoothies, pastries, compotes, jams, homemade chocolate and fruit bars. Also very tasty in drinks such as cocoa, nut milk and herbal teas. Origin Grown and processed in Madagascar. Organic Macadamia butter
Cédric Wüthrich from the Bernese oil mill produces the organic Macadamia butter (also called Macadamia-mus or Macadamia-puree) carefully in raw food quality. The Macadamia nuts are ground to a smooth and creamy musculus for 2 to 3 days in a gentle stone grinding process at 32 degrees Celsius. As a result, nutrients and the delicious aroma are optimally preserved. Diverse Verwendungsmöglichkeiten finden Sie in unserer Rezept-Sammlung.   Herkunft: Handwerklich hergestellt in Bern, Macadamianüsse aus Guatemala. Zutaten: 100% Macadamianüsse, aus kontrolliert biologischem Anbau. Bio-Zertifizierung: CH-BIO-086
