Shredded coconut is a convenient way to enjoy the goodness of coconut without having to work your way through a thick, sturdy nut. PlatLife sources King shredded coconut from Sri Lanka, from certified organic farming areas. The farmers cultivate the land and improve their living conditions by working in harmony with nature to provide the best product.

After harvesting, the coconut is opened, the coconut water is collected, the shell is removed and the fruity flesh is cut into cubes. The coconut flesh is then gently dried in the sun and then grated. Processing is carried out carefully by hand and under high hygienic conditions. This ensures that the dried organic grated coconut is of the best quality. They are unbleached and of raw food quality.

Coconut oil organic
Weight : 1000ml
Cocnut Oil - Healthy Allround-Product Update from November 15th, 2022: The new batch of our coconut oil is now available. On the right side you can choose the variants 500ml or 1000ml. Why buy organic coconut oil? Naturally aromatic taste Use in the kitchen and for personal hygiene High heat stability For weight loss support The digestible coconut oil with its naturally fragrant, mildly aromatic taste is a must for us in the kitchen! A big advantage of coconut fat in contrast to other oils is that it is very heat-stable. It is therefore ideal for cooking, frying and baking. And it also has a long shelf life. Coconut oil does not make you fat and is even said to help you lose weight, as it is immediately converted into energy by the body. The special saturated fatty acids of coconut (so-called MCT fats) - and here in particular the high content of lauric acid - are of great nutritional and physiological benefit. Breast milk also consists largely of these medium-chain fatty acids, which do not contain any cholesterol themselves, but promote the production of healthy, vascular-protecting HDL cholesterol. Coconut oil also has valuable properties for cosmetics. Coconut oil cares for skin and hair and provides moisture, promotes well-being, a beautiful appearance and a vital radiance. This is also known in Asia, where coconut oil has been used as a rich source of food, beauty and care products for centuries. What makes our coconut oil special? Extraction from fresh fruit meat Organic certification Gentle processing Coconut palms are ancient crops and have been grown for at least 3000 years. When it comes to coconut oil, it is particularly important to pay attention to the quality of the product, because many of the coconut fats available on the market are industrially hardened and deodorized. For our virgin coconut oil, the pulp of freshly harvested organic coconuts is gently dried for one to two days and then cold-pressed. The result is coconut oil with a subtle coconut taste. The coconut oil is certified organic, unbleached, not deodorized and without any additives. The unhardened, unrefined "Virgin Coconut Oil" convinces with its excellent properties and particularly high content of valuable lauric acid. Both sizes (500ml and 1 liter) are filled into a practical, reclosable white glass. This can later be used as a storage jar for powder, nuts and much more. Where does our coconut oil come from? The current batch is from the Philippines. Tips for use: In the kitchen and for personal care You can use the oil, which has a firm consistency in the refrigerator, for example as a butter substitute, spread or for salad dressing. However, due to its fatty acid structure, it can also be used for frying at high temperatures and gives sauces, Asian dishes and other dishes a subtle exotic note. Very tasty in desserts and homemade chocolates. Insider tip: pour a teaspoon of warm coconut oil over ice cream. Applied as a hair care or hair treatment, it makes brittle hair supple and shiny. To do this, massage coconut oil into dry hair, leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then wash the hair with a mild shampoo. Coconut oil has a firm consistency at room temperature and begins to melt and turn into oil at around 25 degrees. Coconut blossom sugar organic
Weight : 500g
Coconut blossom sugar 100% natural in high fineness The sugar with a caramel flavour Coconut blossom sugar has a wonderful, caramel-like flavour and is obtained from the flower nectar of coconut palms. It is a better, mineral-rich alternative to cane sugar, containing lots of potassium, magnesium, zinc and iron. It is also a good source of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and C and amino acids (especially glutamic acid). Its low glycaemic index (GI=35) ensures a slow release of energy. Coconut blossom sugar is therefore a sweetener suitable for everyone. Our organic coconut sugar consists of 100% coconut nectar from the palm species Coco Nucifera. A suitable sweetener for the health-conscious consumer. Why buy coconut blossom sugar? SamaraNatura coconut blossom sugar tastes similar to brown sugar, but better! It has a rich, sugary-sweet caramel flavour and many chefs appreciate how coconut sugar enhances their culinary dishes and makes them tastier. Compared to other sweeteners, coconut blossom sugar has a much lower glycaemic index. This means that it releases its energy more slowly and avoids the usual sugar highs and lows of normal sugar in the body. What we particularly appreciate is that this sweetener is one of the few truly sustainable foods in the world! In terms of humanity, the environment and health, coconut blossom sugar has extraordinary benefits in every respect. It lifts communities out of poverty, provides much-needed nutrients to the body in a way that often does the opposite (as a sweetener), and helps preserve fragile tropical rainforests. In fact, it helps restore the ecological balance of degraded areas. What makes our xylitol birch sugar special? Our coconut blossom sugar is 100% natural, organic, unbleached and free from additives and artificial flavourings. It consists only of the nectar of coconut palms and is not mixed with other palm sugars, which would compromise its exquisite quality. Our coconut sugar is a sustainable product and supports local communities and families in Indonesia. Some palm sugars on the market are also blended with cane sugar and other malt-based ingredients. SamaraNatura coconut sugar is pure palm sugar made from 100% coconut nectar from the Coco Nucifera species. Incidentally, coconut palm sugar is not obtained from the palm species used for the production of palm oil. Our granulated coconut palm nectar is not raw, i.e. processed at temperatures above 42°C. We prefer a higher quality and offer sieved coconut blossom sugar with a higher fineness (Mesh 30). This means that the sugar grains are smaller and finer than those of other palm sugar (mesh 18) on the market. Consumption recommendations Coconut blossom sugar melts very easily in hot and cold drinks. The sweetener is delicious in desserts, smoothies and pastries. A small spoonful of our rich coconut sugar is a healthy treat that satisfies cravings and provides instant energy. Coconut sugar can be used like brown sugar in a 1:1 ratio. Xylitol birch sugar: the alternative or supplement to coconut blossom sugar Xylitol is a sugar substitute and has the same sweetening power as white sugar, has no taste of its own, is low in calories (40% fewer calories and 75% fewer carbohydrates) and has a very low glycaemic index (approx. 11 | compared to sugar of approx. 70). It also helps to prevent plaque and tooth decay. Xylitol looks and tastes like sugar and can therefore be used 1:1 like normal sugar, in hot and cold drinks, cakes and desserts. Kokos Pralinen Naturkostbar Bio
Coconut pralines from Naturkostbar - handmade in Switzerland Only coconut puree, ground cocoa beans, coconut blossom sugar, coconut oil, agave nectar and vanilla are used as ingredients for the coconut praline. All ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation. The raw food content is 80%, only the coconut blossom sugar is not raw food due to the process. It all starts with the cocoa bean We only buy and process the best raw materials. All raw materials are natural, fairly traded, certified organic and of raw food quality. Light fermentation gives us the desired flavour that makes our chocolate so unique. Fair trade or direct trade Finding quality raw beans is one of the more difficult tasks in our business. Usually planted by small farmers and harvested with great effort, availability is reduced to a minimum. To enable the small farmers to continue their work, we guarantee them fair payment. Because sustainable cooperation is important to us. Arrived in Steffisburg To enable us to process the raw cocoa beans, we separate them from the shell using a specially designed process. This process can take several hours, but guarantees the cleanliness and purity of the cocoa to be processed. The couverture is made from these selected, gently fermented quality beans - to which we add the finest coconut blossom sugar from Indonesia. The raw materials are stone-ground in our grinder for hours until a smooth chocolate mass is created. The refinement For the filling, we combine silky-creamy coconut puree, fresh cold-pressed coconut oil, pure agave nectar (low GI) and the fine cocoa paste. Together, the couverture and the filling create the incomparable coconut praline - a delight that will flatter your palate and make you dream of faraway places for a brief moment. Please note: Naturkostbar pralines and chocolate are made from 100% natural ingredients and we do not use any lecithins. For this reason, temperature fluctuations can cause a white layer to form on the surface of the products. This is a natural, crystalline change in the cocoa butter (the cocoa "sweats"), but has no effect on the flavour. Contents One box contains 6 coconut pralines with a total weight of 88g. Ingredients Coconut 47% (coconut puree, coconut oil), ground cocoa beans, coconut blossom sugar, agave nectar, cocoa butter, bourbon vanilla. All ingredients come from certified organic farming. Our goji berries are grown in the fertile valleys of Ningxia Province in China without the use of pesticides and agrochemicals.
