Walnuts organic fairtrade

Product information "Walnuts organic fairtrade"

Organic Fairtrade walnuts

Update: The wild walnut halves are now called Tree Nuts Organic Fairtrade and are now available in 250g bags.

The untreated organic Fairtrade tree nuts are crunchy, complex in flavour and very nutritious. They ripen on wild walnut trees in the mountains of Samarkand (Uzbekistan), close to the ancient Silk Road. They are harvested by small farmers. Harvesting and careful processing are carried out using traditional methods. After shelling, sorting and drying in the sun, the beautiful nuts are ready to eat. They are 100% natural.

Even the ancient Romans and Greeks were great fans of the delicious tree nuts and wrote extensively about their health benefits and uses. Even today, tree nuts are recognised as a source of omega-3 fatty acids.

Store in a dry and cool place (normal room temperature). Best before date 30.04.2025. Origin (grown and processed) in Uzbekistan.

Usage

Due to their size, our delicious walnut halves are the perfect addition to muesli, salads, for baking (e.g. banana bread) or as a snack or trail mix for on the go.

Warnings

Small children can choke on nuts.

May contain pieces of shell despite careful processing.
