Product information "Almond butter white Naturkostbar Bio"
Organic white almond paste
The aromatic almonds for this creamy almond paste come from the fertile region around Valencia in Spain. Every February, the blossoming almond trees enchant the region with their white and pink colours. When the almonds are ripe in autumn, they are dried in the sun with their hard outer shells. They are then cracked and peeled.
Naturkostbar process the natural almond kernels in their factory in Uetendorf. A traditional stone mill transforms the almonds particularly gently and slowly into a creamy puree. Grinding with granite stone is a very gentle process: the flavours are released and the puree develops a unique, delicate consistency.
Why is almond paste healthy?
Almonds are not only delicious, they also contain lots of polyunsaturated fatty acids, protein, minerals (magnesium, calcium and potassium), vitamins E, B2 and B3 as well as thiamine and folic acid.
Use
Almond butter is suitable for refining vegetable dishes, salad dressings, yoghurts, desserts, ice cream, smoothies/shakes and as a delicious spread.
Our tip: With 1-2 tablespoons of almond butter, 3 litres of water, a few dates and a pinch of cinnamon, you can mix a delicious and nutritious almond milk in no time at all. Alternatively, you can sweeten it with agave syrup, yacon syrup or apple syrup.

Nutritional information White almond butter
White almond paste is a high-quality source of vitamins and nutrients. It is rich in vitamins E, B2 and B3, thiamine and folic acid. Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. In addition, almond butter is rich in calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium, which contribute to normal energy metabolism. Magnesium supports our muscle cells and is therefore important for athletes. Potassium supports our nervous system and zinc contributes to the normal functioning of our immune system.
Almonds also have an alkalising effect, which is why almond butter is ideal for an alkaline or low-acid diet.
