Cacao & Dates bean-to-bar chocolate from Naturkostbar - handmade in Switzerland

This premium chocolate is produced by Naturkostbar in Steffisburg near Thun in raw food quality from organic ingredients. The whole organic cocoa beans are gently stone-ground. The special thing about this creation is that it is sweetened with date sugar and not the usual coconut blossom sugar.

Cocoa content 68%.

Variety & origin

The Criollo cocoa beans used come from the Pasco region in Peru. They give the chocolate a deep, earthy flavour.

The date sweetener is obtained from sun-ripened Deglet Nour dates by gently drying them (below 42°C) and grinding them finely.
