The bean-to-bar chocolate is produced by Naturkostbar in Steffisburg near Thun in raw food quality from organic ingredients. The unique, fermented (unroasted) organic Bolivian cocoa beans are gently stone-ground for several hours.

Variety and origin

Wild cocoa grows deep in the tropical rainforest in the province of Iténez in Bolivia. To protect the jungle with its ancient cocoa trees and animal inhabitants, Marcela and David founded a project in 2001: they showed local farmers living in poverty how they could harvest and ferment some of the valuable cocoa beans in harmony with nature. The area where the cocoa grows is protected. It is not privately owned, but shared land of the local people. In 2006, Marcela and David had the area certified organic. Since then, they have received a lot of international encouragement and financial support. The project can now look forward to a secure future.

This handmade bean-to-bar chocolate is produced by Naturkostbar in Steffisburg near Thun in raw food quality from organic ingredients. Whole organic cocoa beans of the premium Criollo variety are gently stone-ground. The mass is sweetened with coconut blossom sugar and flavoured with vanilla.

Classic Pralinen von Naturkostbar - handmade in Switzerland Für diese handgefertigten Pralinen werden nur die besten Bio-Zutaten verwendet. Zartes, steingemahlenes Cashewmus, ungerösteter Kakao aus Peru und Kokosblütenzucker verschmelzen in diesen Classic Pralinen zu einem einzigartigen Genuss. Das Macapulver und der Bourbon-Vanille veredeln die Köstlichkeit perfekt. Naturkostbar stellt die edlen Classic Pralinen traditionell und in liebevoller Handarbeit in der Manufaktur in Uetendorf her. Hazelnut pralines from Naturkostbar - handmade in Switzerland The raw hazelnuts from Piedmont and the cocoa beans from mixed cultures merge with a few other high-quality ingredients to create these tempting pralines - a wonderful symbiosis of flavours. The only ingredients used are hazelnut butter, ground cocoa beans, coconut blossom sugar, chopped hazelnuts and vanilla. All ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation. The raw food content is 80%, only the coconut blossom sugar is not raw food due to the process. It all starts with the cocoa bean We process organically certified, high-quality and natural cocoa beans to make our hazelnut praline. The raw beans are lightly fermented and turned daily. Only the best beans meet our high quality standards. Fair trade or direct trade The availability of high-quality raw beans is very limited worldwide. We usually find them from small farmers who plant, cultivate and harvest the cocoa at great expense. In return, they receive a fair payment to ensure sustainability. Arrived in Steffisburg After arriving in Steffisburg, the raw cocoa beans are sorted and selected by hand. This ensures that only the best raw beans are processed in our production. Unroasted, the raw cocoa beans are separated from the shell. We use a special construction for this process to minimise the loss of this valuable raw material. The raw cocoa beans, separated from the shell, are then ground in our stone mill by huge granite stones at less than 42 degrees Celsius. The result is a fine, raw cocoa mass, refined with Indonesian coconut blossom sugar, which can now be processed into our fine raw hazelnut pralines. The refinement This is where the unique raw food praline is created and given its individual flavour. The stone-ground cocoa mass is mixed with creamy-soft hazelnut butter and supplemented with hazelnut flakes from Piedmont hazelnuts. These various steps are necessary for us to mature the hazelnut praline into a true masterpiece. Kokos Pralinen von Naturkostbar - handmade in Switzerland Diese Kokos Pralinen sind das Nachfolgeprodukt der "Grande Kokos Pralinen". Die Kokos Pralinen sind nun ebenfalls in der klassischem Würfelform produziert (früher als Stäbchen). Der Geschmack und die Qualität sind selbstverständlich gleich geblieben. Für die Kokos Praline werden lediglich Kokosnussmus, gemahlene Kakaobohnen, Kokosblütenzucker, Kokosnussöl, Agavennektar und Vanille als Zutaten verwendet. Alle Zutate stammen aus kontrolliert biologischem Anbau. Der Rohkost-Anteil beträgt 80%, einzig der Kokosblütenzucker ist verfahrensbedingt nicht Rohkost möglich. Alles beginnt mit der Kakaobohne Nur die besten Rohstoffe werden von uns eingekauft und verarbeitet. Alle Rohstoffe sind naturbelassen, fair gehandelt, biologisch zertifiziert und in Rohkostqualität.
