Product information "Vita Biosa Probiotic Rose Hip"

Baobab powder organic
Baobab – the African super fruit Why Baobab Powder? Baobab has a slightly citrusy, fruity, refreshing taste and is rich in vitamin C and the minerals calcium, potassium, iron and magnesium. Due to its favorable calcium-phosphorus ratio in combination with vitamin C, the bioavailability of calcium and iron is particularly good. Baobab is great for vegans because it's high in calcium - twice as much as milk. Effect of baobab powder? The baobab fruit has approx. 50% dietary fiber - half the particularly valuable soluble dietary fiber - and thus supports the intestinal functions and a favorable, regular digestion. Baobab also contains numerous phytonutrients that, as powerful antioxidants, help to protect cells and vessels from free radicals. What makes our baobab powder special? Our baobab powder is 100% pure, raw and chemical free. The pod contains the seeds and the naturally dried pulp. The natural fruit powder is separated from the seeds and fibers in a mechanical process. Origin of our babobab powder This superfruit is native to Africa. By spreading to the western world, distribution helps African communities reduce poverty while preserving nature. So baobab is good for us, good for Africans and good for the environment. The African baobab tree (Adansonia digitata) or baobab tree (from Arabic bu-hubub) is a characteristic part of the African savannah. It's also jokingly called the "inverted tree" because it looks like its roots reach up into the sky in a ghostly silhouette. Africans have valued this tree and its fruit for a long time and have given it various names such as tree of life and magic tree. Its thick trunk can store up to 300 liters of water, enabling the tree to survive long periods of drought. The nutritious fruit powder forms naturally in the ripe fruit pod, which also contains the seeds. Tips for use in everyday life We like the taste and use it pure with water and a little sweetener - a real treat. It can be used wonderfully as an ingredient in all cocoa and dessert creations and gives them a delicious, slightly sweet and sour note. Due to its high pectin content (approx. 25%), baobab powder is particularly suitable for recipes where binding or thickening properties are required. In addition, baobab is a natural flavor enhancer and gives every dish, whether sweet or savory, a special touch. Baobab also goes well with muesli, in yoghurt, nut milk and as an ingredient in baked goods and desserts (with cocoa). If you like it sweeter, just add a teaspoon of agave syrup. Recipe with baobab powder Try a refreshing vitality drink: mix 1 to 2 teaspoons of baobab powder with water and lemon or add it to juice or your favorite smoothie. Wheatgrass powder organic
Wheatgrass powder from New Zealand - Mineralising and cleansing Why consume wheatgrass powder? Wheatgrass contains a variety of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, phytochemicals and antioxidants - in an easily digestible form. Regular use of wheatgrass powder can help the body maintain its optimum level of all necessary nutrients. Its rich green colour is a testament to the abundance of chlorophyll, which is beneficial. They are also cheaper than most multivitamin and multimineral products. What makes our wheatgrass powder special? The wheatgrass powder is 100% pure, grown without pesticides or agrochemicals and is made from young shoots. The grasses grow outdoors in the sun-drenched, mineral-rich and fertile soils of New Zealand. They are harvested before the stalks develop and immediately dehydrated at body temperature. This ensures that the naturally pure, "living" organic ingredients of this superfood, including the heat-sensitive enzymes and nutrients, are preserved. Grasses vary in their nutrient content depending on where, when and how they grow. Our grass is grown in very fertile soils in New Zealand. Use wheatgrass powder in a variety of ways Add the wheatgrass powder to water, water kefir, fresh fruit and vegetable juices, smoothies, food or other drinks. Start with ½ teaspoon daily, increase to 1-2 teaspoons or more as required. It is best to drink ½ hour before meals. The amount of powder should only be increased gradually so that the body can get used to it. Due to its antioxidant properties, grass powders are also suitable for external use. They are ideal for skin and hair care. In powder form, the grasses are a good mouthwash and an excellent dental cleanser. What should I bear in mind when using wheatgrass powder? Wheatgrass powder can have a high vitamin K content. Careful use is advisable for people who are hypersensitive. In this case, we recommend starting with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon with meals and increasing the amount slowly. Also useful for dogs and cats The grasses are also ideal for dogs and cats. You can mix the powder into their food, both in dry and moist form. Yacon Syrup Organic
Yacon Syrup Organic - Delicious, prebiotic sweetener Yacon is grown in the high mountain valleys of the Andes and has a dense root system that is full of minerals, vitamins and complex vital substances. The freshly squeezed juice of the root is a gift from nature and has been enjoyed by the Andean peoples for centuries. The special thing about Yacon is the quality of its sugar, which is mainly in the form of oligofructose (or fructooligosaccharides). Oligofructose cannot be used by the digestive enzymes and therefore hardly causes any calories and protects the blood sugar level. In addition, as a prebiotic, oligofructose supports a healthy intestinal flora. An ideal sweetener for diabetics, health-conscious and diet-conscious people alike. Why we love Yacon Syrup Yacon tastes delicious and has half as many calories as honey, for example. And on top of that, its sugar hardly increases the blood sugar level and avoids strenuous blood sugar highs and lows. Yacon syrup is also significantly less glycemic than honey, agave or maple syrup. The oligofructose in Yacon also supports the beneficial bacteria in the colon, thereby improving digestion and absorption of nutrients. The indigestible sugar thus serves the beneficial bacteria as prebiotic food. SamaraNatura Yacon Syrup Our yacon syrup comes from traditional varieties from the Peruvian Andes and is 100% natural, grown without pesticides and agrochemicals. It is produced at low temperatures, which guarantees that the syrup retains a very high quality of nutrients and enzymes. This yacon syrup is thickened from yacon juice in a special vacuum process at low temperatures of 45°C. Since this yacon syrup can only be kept for a relatively short time without pasteurization, it is pasteurized at 70°C for 3 minutes. The syrup is therefore not raw food, but processed very gently, which means that the valuable nutrients and enzymes in the roots are largely retained. How to use Yacon syrup can be used in many ways as a sweetener. It can be used to sweeten desserts, drinks and smoothies. For salad dressings, we like to mix the syrup with vinegar, as a substitute for balsamic vinegar, which usually contains a lot of sugar. The sweetness of the syrup is less strong than the sweetness of sugar, honey or agave syrup. To support a healthy intestinal flora, 1 teaspoon is sufficient daily. For a better shelf life, we recommend storing the yacon syrup in the refrigerator. Vita Biosa Probiotic Original Herbs Organic
Vita Biosa Probiotic Original Herbs Vita Biosa Probiotic is not a dietary supplement, but a food. It does not supply the body with any additional chemical substances, but is a purely organic herbal fermented drink with active lactic acid cultures and probiotics. Fermentation with the seven vegan lactic acid bacteria and probiotics creates a unique herbal extract with a fresh, tart flavour. Due to the special fermentation process at temperatures below 40°C, Vita Biosa Probiotic Original Herbs is free from lactose, gluten, sugar, alcohol or preservatives. Why consume Vita Biosa Probiotic? Vita Biosa Probiotic Kräuter supports the regular activity of your intestines and gives you a good gut feeling. It is a controlled organic herbal ferment drink from Denmark, developed to harmonise the intestinal flora. 19 carefully selected herbs are fermented with 7 lactic acid cultures and probiotics. The probiotic bacteria contained can survive in the stomach, attach themselves to the intestinal wall and multiply there. This produces acids which, together with the probiotic bacteria and a wholesome diet, contribute to a balanced environment in the gastrointestinal tract. Suitable for the whole family and all ages Vita Biosa Probiotic Herbs is suitable for all ages and is available in three other flavours in addition to the "Original Herbs": Rosehip, Berry and Ginger. It is unpasteurised and can be kept in the fridge for 2 months after first opening. However, it does not need to be cooled beforehand. The "3 litre bag in box" does not need to be refrigerated even after opening, as the liquid has no oxygen exchange due to the vacuum in the bag. Vita Biosa is not suitable for people with histamine intolerance, as the probiotics contain both Lactococcus lactis and Lactobacillus casei. Daily intake Initially 2-3 teaspoons with meals (pure, in water or in juice). In the build-up phase of one week, increase the daily intake to 30-50 ml (equivalent to 6-10 teaspoons). If you are not yet used to the sour taste of Vita Biosa Probiotic, we recommend mixing it with water or juice as a Biosa spritzer. Please do not mix it with hot drinks, as these could kill the lactic acid bacteria. However, our favourite way to use Vita Biosa Herbs is as a probiotic smoothie with fresh berries. You can find the recipe on our recipes page. Size variants 5dl, 1 litre bottle or 3 litre bag-in-box. To open the 3 litre bag-in-box, simply press in the perforated area on the bottom long side, pull out the spigot and remove the seal. Due to the vacuum in the Bag-in-Box, it does not need to be refrigerated after opening. More about the production of Vita Biosa Probiotic Vita Biosa Probiotic herbal fermented drinks are foods that are fermented and constantly optimised in Denmark with a great deal of love, care and expertise under strict government controls and with the aid of state-of-the-art technologies. The herbs, carefully selected for their flavour and quality, are handled with care between sowing and harvesting. During fermentation, lactic acid and acetic acid are produced, giving the drink a pH value of around 3.5. This low pH value prevents the growth of harmful bacteria in the end product. It contains millions of microorganisms that occur naturally in a healthy intestinal environment. During fermentation, the seven lactic acid cultures and probiotics consume all the sugar and convert it into lactic and acetic acid. When all the sugar has been consumed, the fermentation process is complete and the product is sugar-free. The name lactic acid bacteria comes from the bacteria's ability to acidify milk. The recipe has remained unchanged for many years. However, the flavour of the different batches may vary. The main reason for this is the different fermentation process, depending on the season (outside temperatures), bacterial cultures, flavour of the herbs, lump formation of the herbs in the tank, etc. Ingredients Vita Biosa Probiotic Original Herbs Active lactic acid cultures, probiotics and an extract of 19 different herbs - all from controlled organic cultivation (kbA).
