Peanuts with skin organic

Product information "Peanuts with skin organic"

Update: Sale of the last bags with best-before date 31.10.2025. The new batch is expected to arrive at the end of September.

Redskin organic peanuts

The red-skinned, unsalted and unroasted peanuts are different from the typical nuts at the bar, even at first glance. They can be recognised by their incredibly rich colour and unmistakable taste. The peanuts come from remote mountain regions along the old Silk Road in Uzbekistan, where they have been grown sustainably and organically for decades.

To preserve their pure, natural flavour, they are gently dried using solar drying. When you open a pack of these high-quality nuts, you are sure to get curious looks. Everyone immediately recognises that these peanuts are different from all the others. Peanuts are a good source of vitamin B1, E, phosphorus, magnesium and potassium.

Store in a dry place away from heat. See bottom of pack for best before date.

Use

Their delicate flavour and the absence of salt and sugar make peanuts the ideal snack. They are also suitable as a topping for salads and for preparing meals and homemade peanut butter.

Warnings

Small children can choke on nuts.

May contain pieces of shell.

May contain traces of other nuts.

Cedarnuts Organic
Weight : 250g
Cedar nuts from Siberia - a treasure of nature Cedar nuts taste similar to other pine nuts, but slightly sweeter and stronger. Unlike almost all commercially available pine nuts, our raw cedar nuts are not heat-treated. Why eat cedar nuts? Cedar nuts contain around 55% valuable unsaturated fatty acids, primarily linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid as well as the rare pinoleic/pinolenic acid. They are rich in tocopherols (vitamin E) as antioxidants and in high-quality proteins (approx. 17%). They also contain many minerals (especially magnesium, potassium, phosphorus), trace elements (copper, manganese, zinc), vitamins (K and B) and flavonoids. For centuries, the inhabitants of Siberia have valued the widespread cedar (Pinus sibirica), a Swiss stone pine, not only as a source of valuable wood, but also for its tasty and highly nutritious seeds, which are found in the cedar cones. What makes our cedar nuts special? Almost all commercially available pine nuts are treated with heat to make them last longer. Our cedar nuts, on the other hand, are completely untreated, which preserves the broad spectrum of nutrients. Where do our cedar nuts come from? They come from the Lake Baikal region in Siberia and are harvested by hand. The Siberian pine is a true treasure of Siberian nature, forming vast areas of unspoilt forests throughout northern Russia. The huge, magnificent trees (up to 40 metres tall) grow slowly and the first cones with seeds only appear when the trees are around 30 years old. They are among the longest-lived tree species in existence, as they can live for 300 to 800 years! The evergreen cedar is a storehouse of cosmic light energy, capturing the energy rays from cosmic space in its millions of needles during its long life. Even thousands of years ago, ancient peoples valued the properties of the cedar tree, which they called "the eternal". The brushwood was used to prepare a vitamin drink, the resin was used to heal wounds and ulcers, and the seeds and their oil helped to survive the long, harsh winters in Siberia. How to use cedar nuts in everyday life? Cedar nuts taste delicious on their own as a snack or together with dried fruit and other nuts, goji berries and cocoa nibs. They can be sprinkled on salads and other dishes or added to mayonnaise, creams and milk. Cedar nuts add a certain elegance to your cooking. Cedar nuts and their oil are also very good for skin care and regeneration. We recommend keeping cedar nuts in the fridge after opening, especially in summer. Customer opinion on the product "I really like cedar nuts. I like to mix them with a little water and then create something sweet or savoury from them. Vegan salad dressing, cheese substitute ... or simply snack on a handful in between." from Mirjam F. Macadamia nuts organic Naturkostbar
Organic macadamia nuts from Kenya Naturkostbar macadamia nuts are particularly large, crunchy and buttery sweet. Macadamia nuts are among the most expensive nuts in the world due to their difficult cultivation and fluctuating quality, which is why the macadamia nut is also known as the "queen of nuts". Origin and processing These macadamia nuts grow in one of the most fertile regions of Africa, at the foot of Mount Kenya. Due to the high altitude and the associated cold nights, the nuts are of a very high quality. The Kenyan farmers cultivate the nut trees in harmony with nature. After harvesting, the macadamia nuts are gently dried and shelled in the region. They are then imported directly to Switzerland by Naturkostbar. Use The natural macadamia nuts are a special snack thanks to their delicate, creamy sweet flavour. Of course, the delicious nuts can also be used for macadamia milk or in desserts, although macadamia nut is better suited to this. Brazil Nuts Organic Naturkostbar
Weight : 250g
Wild Brazil nuts organic Update: Due to the discontinuation of PlantLife (bankruptcy), we have added Brazil nuts from Naturkostbar to our range. Brazil nuts from the Bolivian rainforest are highly valued for their crunchy texture and nutty flavour. They are one of the most characteristic nuts in the world in terms of flavour, appearance and impressive size. The sustainable, natural cultivation and harvest are fascinating: in the rainy season, the ripe pods fall from the trees before being collected by hand and cracked with machetes to reveal the nut kernels. PlantLife works closely with local cooperatives to conserve the rainforest by promoting sustainable farming methods. Paying a fair price for high-quality Brazil nuts is an incentive to save the rainforest from deforestation for agricultural purposes. Brazil nuts are a good source of vitamin E, magnesium, potassium and selenium. Use They are ideal for nibbling or crunching in muesli - but can also be easily grated or sliced and are an interesting flavour addition to cakes, pastries and desserts. Store in a dry place away from heat. For best-before date and origin, see bottom of pack. Warnings Small children can choke on nuts. May contain pieces of shell. May contain traces of other nuts. Erdnussmus pur Bio Naturkostbar
Pure peanut butter from Naturkostbar Peanut enjoyment in harmony with people and nature: savour high quality and preserve the beauty of our earth. This exclusive puree is made from peanuts - nothing else. Just like 100 years ago, we gently roast the peanuts and process them into a fine, grainy puree according to a traditional recipe. Including the nutrient-rich skin, which many nuts still have in whole or in part. For great flavours. The peanuts grow in Ghana in a nature reserve that is home to wild hippos. The small farmers' co-operative protects the endangered hippo population in West Africa with this area, which they founded. It favours organic farming and ensures mixed crop rotations for healthy soils as well as tracing the harvests back to the farmer. The cooperative gives the small farmers access to the market and a certificate for natural and organic cultivation. Particularly sustainable: the community determines the raw material prices and thus ensures a long-term livelihood for the farmers. We are delighted to receive part of this valuable harvest directly from the small farmers' cooperative and to process it here in the Bernese Oberland. Join us in focussing on enjoyment in harmony with people and nature: we act as equals and take a close look. Instead of maximising profits with cheap mass production and exploitation of the soil, farmers and animals, we focus on direct trade and are happy to accept limited harvests. Peanuts from Ghana are rare and our batches are therefore limited by nature. Use Enjoy the peanut butter as a spread, topping or as an ingredient in baking. Do you love peanut butter? Here's the Naturkostbar version - organic, palm oil-free and sugar-free, of course. By the way: If you like snacking on peanuts, we offer you a sustainable alternative with this butter: spooning instead of snacking. Our tip: Combine the peanut butter with banana and enjoy a unique flavour experience. Tip: Spread coconut butter on bread instead of butter. Weight variations The peanut butter is currently only available in 200g jars. We can also supply 550g or 5kg on request. Nutritional values of peanut butter per 100g Contrary to their reputation, peanuts in their original form are very healthy. They contain a lot of vegetable protein, fat in the form of mostly unsaturated fatty acids and fibre. They also have a high iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus content and are a source of zinc. Studies show that despite their high fat content, peanuts can lower cholesterol levels and have a positive effect on blood lipid levels. Peanuts can also improve vascular function and even help you lose weight - provided they replace an unhealthy snack or spread.
