Product information "Haferflocken angekeimt Bio Naturkostbar"

Sprouted oat flakes

These organic sprouted oat flakes from Naturkostbar are easier to digest thanks to the sprouting process and contain more enzymes as well as having a significantly higher nutrient density. Sprouting effectively unlocks the dormant life forces within the grain – a true treat for body and soul.

Compared to other cereals, oats are significantly richer in nutrients and have become very popular as a healthy breakfast ingredient.

Are the oat flakes gluten-free?

The sprouted oats contain less than 20 ppm of gluten and are therefore also suitable for a gluten-free diet.

Origin

The oat flakes come from a family-run farm in Transylvania, Romania. This small farm specialises in sprouted raw foods and processes the harvests of numerous organic farmers across Europe. This mindful, natural philosophy is reflected in the excellent quality of the oat flakes.

The sprouted oat flakes are now only dried after flaking, so that they break up less into small pieces.

Contents: 500g bag.

Usage

These sprouted oat flakes have a characteristic, slightly bitter flavour. They make a wholesome addition to almost any muesli creation.

3-Korn-Müesli angekeimt Bio Naturkostbar
Edelmüesli Pure Basics Bio Naturkostbar

The sprouted 3-grain muesli is now called Edelmüesli Pure Basics To complement Rohkost-Hüsli’s muesli range (breakfast muesli, apricot muesli and sour cherry muesli), we now stock Naturkostbar’s 3-grain sprouted muesli. It combines sprouted wholemeal oats, sprouted buckwheat grains and sprouted sunflower seeds. These provide us with plenty of minerals, trace elements and vitamins, and form the perfect basis for breakfast. This easily digestible three-grain blend has a balanced, mildly nutty flavour. The grains contain less than 20 ppm gluten and are therefore also suitable for a gluten-free diet. Origin and production Produced in Romania. The ingredients come from the Netherlands, Poland and Hungary. Naturkostbar sources the sprouted wholegrain flakes and grains directly from a family-run business in Romania, which specialises in sprouted raw foods and processes the harvests of numerous organic farmers across Europe. Their mindful, nature-centred philosophy aligns perfectly with our values. Why sprout? To allow oats, buckwheat and sunflower seeds to develop their full mineral and vitamin content, they are sprouted after harvesting. Sprouting activates the dormant life forces within the grain, which allow the tiny sprout to grow into a plant. During the gentle drying process, these vital forces are then carefully preserved, making the buckwheat and sunflower seeds beautifully crunchy. The oats are carefully processed into wholegrain flakes, enriching the mix with a wealth of nutrients, fibre and amino acids. Uses This wonderful three-grain blend is ideal as a nutrient-rich base for muesli. It tastes delicious combined with fresh berries and fruit, as well as raisins, dates, hemp seeds, acai powder, cocoa powder and many other ingredients. Also suitable for making cereal patties. Ingredients: Edelmüesli Pure Basics Sprouted organic oats Sprouted organic buckwheat  Sprouted organic sunflower seeds Sprouted oats Sprouted raw oats contain an impressive array of minerals, trace elements and vitamins. For example, the biotin in oats can support healthy skin, hair and nails, whilst vitamins B1 and B6 can strengthen the nervous system and mental well-being. Oats contain at least twice as much iron as meat. For optimal absorption, it’s best to combine the flakes with fruit rich in vitamin C, or – for a savoury option – with salad and vegetables, for example in a grain burger. As a component of red blood cells, iron promotes the transport of oxygen in the blood. The grain also scores highly for its magnesium and silicon content. Oats also provide valuable antioxidants. Sprouted buckwheat Buckwheat contains all the essential amino acids and can therefore support the development of muscles, organs, cartilage, bones, skin, hair and nails. Buckwheat is also rich in iron and selenium. As a component of red blood cells, iron promotes the transport of oxygen in the blood. And selenium can protect cells from oxidative stress and support the normal function of the thyroid gland. Sprouted sunflower seeds Sunflower seeds provide us with a particularly high amount of vitamin E. They also contain vitamin B and a particularly high amount of unsaturated fatty acids. The seeds are a valuable source of folic acid, zinc and potassium. Phosphorus, iron and magnesium can contribute to normal energy metabolism. Sunflower seeds can also support our body thanks to their high content of essential amino acids. Amino acids are involved in almost all metabolic processes and transport important nutrients and oxygen throughout our bodies. Most hormones and antibodies are also made up of amino acids, meaning that a deficiency can quickly lead to a poorly functioning immune system. Ceylon Cinnamon powder Organic
Ceylon Cinnamon powder Organic
Weight : 250g

Organic Ceylon cinnamon powder (100% natural) - premium quality you can taste This premium cinnamon powder from Sri Lanka, the original home of the cinnamon tree, is a fine and pure, particularly intensely flavoured cinnamon powder made from real Ceylon cinnamon! It is without doubt the tastiest and freshest cinnamon powder we have ever tasted. True cinnamon has been used by humans since at least 3000 BC and grows naturally in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Burma. Ceylon cinnamon came to Europe with the Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama in 1502, which he brought back from Sri Lanka (Ceylon). Nowadays, it is more common to find the cassia cinnamon variety on the market, which comes from China, rather than the more aromatic true cinnamon. The flavour of the cinnamon tree comes primarily from cinnamon oil and other aromatic substances such as eugenol, which is also found in cloves. True cinnamon is not only used for flavouring, but also has other interesting applications (*1). Among other things, cinnamon is known to stimulate the appetite and aid digestion. It is also considered helpful for bacterial and fungal infections, inflammation and for lowering blood sugar. Cinnamon contains a very high antioxidant capacity of 131,420 µmol TE/100g (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacit). Since we as a retailer are only allowed to make a few specific statements about the health effects of foods, we recommend that you research information about this product yourself on the Internet, e.g. at Zentrum der Gesundheit. Why we love organic Ceylon cinnamon powder We love this premium cinnamon powder because of its truly unique and particularly aromatic cinnamon scent and flavour, which is not only associated with childhood memories of heavenly cinnamon sugar. Coconut sugar with cinnamon even surpasses the flavour experience and is also a healthy alternative to white sugar! Applesauce with cinnamon is another classic. Recently, we have also been using cinnamon more and more often in our evening turmeric drink (Facebook/blog link) and in chocolate drinks, as well as in curry dishes and teas. The beneficial properties of cinnamon are a very welcome "side effect". SamaraNatura Cinnamon The aroma and flavour of this 100% pure Ceylon cinnamon are particularly intense and fresh, which is achieved through rapid processing and optimal conditions! This cinnamon comes from organic cultivation and fair trade from two local Fairtrade organisations with 2500 participating farmers. Thanks to the co-operation with Fairtrade, the farmers can earn a secure and independent living. The Fairtrade premium can be used to pay for projects such as clean drinking water, school materials for the children and educational projects. Organic farming and fair trade relations have a decisive influence on the quality of the product. Premium raw-food-grade agave syrup What is agave? The agave is a cactus-like plant native to Mexico. Agave syrup is a delicious sweetener extracted from the sap found inside agaves that are at least eight years old. Traditionally, Mexicans collected the sweet sap (“aguamiel”) from various agaves to make sweeteners and special drinks for celebrations. Why buy agave syrup? Agave syrup is a vegan alternative to honey and has a pleasant flavour, like a mixture of honey and maple syrup. It is a versatile sweetener. Only very gently processed agave syrup, such as ours, has a low glycaemic index and is absorbed slowly into the bloodstream. It is therefore particularly recommended for people with sugar sensitivity. What makes our agave syrup special? Most conventional agave syrups – often even those from organic cultivation – are made from 3–6 different species of agave and have been subjected to high heat and pasteurisation, as agave sap spoils quickly once extracted. During this process, the healthier complex sugars (polysaccharides, predominantly in the form of inulin) are converted into simple sugars. As a result, they have lost a large proportion of their nutrients! Our agave syrup is produced exclusively from the Salmiana agave, is processed very gently at low temperatures and is therefore of the highest quality available on the market. No pesticides or other agrochemicals are used in its cultivation. The syrup is produced in special vacuum tanks, in which the water it contains evaporates at very low temperatures. This ensures that the valuable vitamins, minerals and enzymes are largely preserved and remain available to our bodies. Because our agave syrup is 100% natural, it has a stronger flavour and a darker colour than standard agave syrups. How can it be used in your daily diet? Agave syrup is characterised by its high, neutral sweetness. It enhances flavour and dissolves easily in both cold and hot foods and drinks. It is ideal for baking and, due to its low tendency to crystallise, is perfect for making jams and jellies.
