The radish green sprouts contain Vitamin C, protein, carotene, some B vitamins, plenty of potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and enzymes.
Radish sprouts also contain a sulphur-containing oil, raphanol, as well as several mustard oil glycosides and bitter substances, which have an antibiotic effect, are choleretic and dissolve mucus in the respiratory tract.

Growing green radish sprouts
Soak 4 heaped tablespoons (3100ml jar) or 3 heaped tablespoons (1700ml jar) of radish seeds for 10 hours. Then rinse in the morning and evening.
The radish sprouts take 4-5 days to germinate. Consume directly afterwards. To keep the sprouts fresh for longer, we recommend storing them in the fridge. Tip: Place kitchen paper between the sprouts and the Tupperware.
Use
The radish green sprouts go particularly well with fondue or raclette, as they help to digest the greasy meal. You can also simply eat the sprouts on their own, mix them into salads or use them as a topping for sandwiches.
