Rocket sprouts germination seed Rocket seeds cannot be grown on their own, which is why they must be grown together with red clover or alfalfa (our recommendation). The following ratio is excellent for growing sprouts: 1 level tsp rocket and 2 heaped tbsp alfalfa, whereby the seed quantity refers to the germination glass of sprout seeds.
