Spirulina algae powder from Taiwan in organic & raw food quality (100% natural) Spirulina platensis is a single-celled, spiral-shaped blue-green algae that has existed on our planet for thousands of years. It gets its typical deep dark colour from the green of the chlorophyll and the blue of the phycocyanin. Spirulina grows in shallow waters with an alkaline pH value between 9 and 11. As it has no cellulose shell, our body can easily break down and digest its components. Why is spirulina useful as a dietary supplement? The blue-green microalgae contains a wealth of nutrients and vital substances. Spirulina powder is particularly rich in protein, provitamin A (β-carotene), iron and vitamin K. The dark colour also indicates a high chlorophyll content. SamaraNatura spirulina algae powder Taiwan BIO Our very high-quality Spirulina platensis in raw food quality comes from controlled organic cultivation in southern Taiwan. It is cultivated in accordance with Naturland guidelines, in pure drinking water under natural climatic conditions and exclusively under sunlight. Compared to other spirulina, it has a very pleasant taste and an incredibly rich blue-green colour. Due to the gentle processing, it has raw food quality. To check the quality, each batch is tested by an independent laboratory in Germany for pesticides, bacteria, algae toxins, heavy metals and radioactivity. How do I use spirulina powder? Mix ½-1 teaspoon with water 3 times a day, as an ingredient for smoothies or with fruit and vegetable juices. As with all food supplements, we recommend starting cautiously and slowly increasing the amount used over the course of a week. This will allow your body to get used to the new product and avoid unwanted side effects such as indigestion. You will usually get used to the somewhat unique flavour quite quickly. If you find using the powder unpleasant even after a few weeks, we recommend using spirulina tablets. Combining spirulina and chlorella The two algae powders are very suitable for combined use due to their nutrients. We recommend taking spirulina together with chlorella in a ratio of 2:1, whereby the total recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Spirulina powder - the high-quality original from Hawaii (100% natural) What is spirulina? Spirulina is a single-celled, filamentous blue-green algae and one of the first life forms on this planet. Richer in high-quality protein (contains 18 amino acids) than any other food, the microalgae also contains a wealth of vitamins, minerals, important antioxidants such as SOD and phycocyanin, polysaccharides and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. Spirulina is at the forefront of the nutritional revolution. With its rich composition and ability to grow even under unfavourable conditions, the microalgae has great potential to become a food source that will help feed the world's population. By integrating spirulina into our diet, we are making a contribution to solving the food crisis. The effect of spirulina? Spirulina is a valuable food. The algae is incredibly rich, a "wholefood". It is believed to contain all the vital substances that the human body needs. The high density of vital substances brings vitality and well-being. The antioxidants can scavenge free radicals and highly reactive oxygen compounds and are therefore important for the maintenance and function of cells. The detailed nutritional values are listed below. What makes our spirulina powder special? Our Spirulina Pacifica has been cultivated in Hawaii for over 25 years(video with flight over the plantation) and is regarded as one of the highest quality spirulina in the world. In a special, oxygen-free drying system, the spirulina is dried very gently so that more nutrients and enzymes are retained - e.g. over 40% more ß-carotene and over 75% more zeaxanthin - than is possible with conventional drying systems. Spirulina Pacifica is grown in open ponds 20 cm deep, a few hundred metres from the Pacific Ocean. To fill the ponds, fresh water is mixed with seawater from a depth of 600 metres, which is rich in minerals and trace elements. The other most important substances for cultivation in terms of quantity are food-grade baking powder (sodium bicarbonate) and carbon dioxide. Food-grade fertilisers are also used. Paddle wheels move the water to provide the algae with uniform sunlight for optimal growth conditions and nutrient uptake. Spirulina from Hawaii is grown without pesticides or herbicides and does not contain any genetically modified organisms. Our spirulina is called Spirulina Pacifica and is a selected strain of Spirulina platensis that has developed over many years of cultivation in Hawaii. Spirulina Pacifica was intensively analysed by molecular biologists at the University of Hawaii. They identified new enzymes that were not found in other Spirulina platensis strains. Tips for use in everyday nutrition The powder is most often mixed with fruit and vegetable juices. Spring water is also very good and promotes maximum absorption. Spirulina can also be added to food like a spice to avoid loss of nutrients, but it should only be heated a little. Spirulina has a unique flavour that blends well with almost anything. If you are not used to the flavour of green foods, it may take some getting used to at first. If you find that your energy is running low during the day, take some spirulina with water and observe how your body feels 1-2 hours later. You will be amazed. Recommended intake Beginners and children: 1-2 g per day Adults: up to 3g per day It is recommended to start with 1 teaspoon (5 g) or slightly less and gradually increase the intake up to 10 g (1 heaped tablespoon) to avoid indigestion. Taking 1 tsp one hour before meals can help to reduce appetite. The dry powder absorbs water from the air, so the packaging should be tightly sealed and stored in a cool, dry and dark place Complementary product recommendations We recommend taking spirulina together with chlorella in a ratio of 2:1. Atlantic dulse powder (lobster seaweed, red algae) in organic & raw food quality We have been stocking a wide and high-quality range of organic Atlantic dulse for many years. This dulse powder from Ireland is the simplest form for detox smoothies. It can also be used to flavour food. We also offer dulse flakes from Ireland and dulse leaves cut from Galicia (Spain). Several sizes are available and you can benefit from graduated prices (5% quantity discount from 3 pieces). Atlantic dulse or lobster seaweed (Palmaria palmata) is a red algae, soft with a bite and a strong purple-red colour. It does not need to be cooked or soaked. This makes dulse a great snack or a flavourful topping for potato and lentil dishes as well as salads. In recent years, dulse has also become popular as an ingredient in detox smoothies. Dulse is extremely low in calories, fat- and cholesterol-free, rich in minerals as well as vitamin B6, fibre and protein. It has the highest iron content of all sea vegetables. 10g of dried dulse is equivalent to around 100g of fresh dulse. Why use dulse powder Dulse is one of the easiest sea vegetables to use. It tastes mild and spicy and adds flavour and colour to any dish. It is also one of the few purple coloured foods and purple is the colour of spiritual consciousness, the third eye. Irish dulse from wild collection Our dulse is collected wild in the west of Ireland at low tide and harvested by hand. With the help of a cold air drying system, the organic seaweed is dried very gently and in raw food quality. The leaves are then ground into powder. Variants: Due to the different consumption quantities and requirements, we offer dulse powder in 100g and 250g bags. The larger bag is approx. 16.5% cheaper. Use of dulse Dulse has been traditionally harvested for generations and can be eaten straight from the bag or used as an ingredient in smooties. Dulse is also suitable steamed over potatoes or crispy roasted as a snack or with salads and other dishes. As a raw food straight from the bag or in salads (can be rinsed beforehand if necessary). In soups and stews, ideal with pulses and cereal dishes. Add towards the end of the cooking time. Ingredients 100% organic dulse / lobster kelp (Palmaria palmata). Important notes Due to the high mineral content, we recommend a daily ration of 5g. Particular caution is advised for people with thyroid disorders due to the iodine content. Sea vegetables are enjoyed in many coastal regions around the world and enrich most dishes with flavour and nutrients. Sea vegetables contain almost all the minerals and trace elements that the sea has to offer! In general, sea vegetables are an excellent source of calcium, iodine and sodium, a very good source of folic acid and magnesium and a good source of iron, potassium, vitamin B2 and B5. They also contain vitamin K and trace elements such as selenium and chromium, which are often lacking in land vegetables due to depleted soils. Sea vegetables are an ideal substitute for salt in a wide variety of dishes.

After harvesting, the wild-growing organic dulse is dried very gently and in raw food quality using a cold air drying system. They are then ground into flakes. Please note: Due to the wild harvest, small mussels may adhere to the dulse leaves. The producer himself and we check the purity as well as possible when packing into the bags. For safety reasons, we ask you to briefly check the dulse flakes before eating them. Varying consistency (bite resistance) The consistency (firmness) of the dulse flakes can vary depending on the batch and season. This may be due to the time of harvest or the development of the individual plants at the time of harvest. Dulse algae are wild-growing plants. They are generally harvested shortly before flowering so that the plants are still young enough to be sufficiently tender. Prolonged soaking or heating (boiling) reduces the bite strength. How to use dulse flakes? Dulse has been traditionally harvested for generations and can be eaten straight from the bag (rinsed beforehand if necessary) or used as an ingredient in smoothies (e.g. for detox smoothies). Wild organic blueberries - antioxidants and flavour combined To complement our range, we also offer organic blueberry powder from Bosnia. Packed with healthy nutrients like no other fruit - a real superfruit. Why eat dried organic blueberries from wild harvesting? Great snack: delicious and nutritious Wide range of important nutrients and particularly rich in vitamins C, E and B6 as well as iron, fibre and other vital substances such as resveratrol, zeaxanthin, lutein, anthocyanins and other polyphenolic compounds Because they contain such a high amount of phenols, especially gallic acid, blueberries are known as "nerve protectors". According to researchers from Iran, this means that they can literally protect our brains from degeneration, neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. Particularly for a fruit is its high iron content, which boosts energy levels by producing oxygen-rich blood cells throughout the body. In addition, dried wild blueberries contain a very high antioxidant capacity of around 50,000 µmol TE/100g (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity). For healthy skin Skin care products containing bilberry extract are becoming increasingly popular around the world. It has been reported that the broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals helps to restore hormonal balance, which counteracts acne. This makes blueberries an excellent home remedy for acne. Blueberries also contain resveratrol, a natural sunscreen that can tan your skin. What makes our wild organic blueberries special? 100% natural, gently processed and dried (raw food quality) No preservatives, colourings, sweeteners or other unnatural additives Natural flavour: sweet and sour, fruity and very aromatic Dark purple colour (high quality and purity) and quite dry and crispy Different sizes and origins Dried organic blueberries from wild collection are very difficult to obtain. In northern countries they are also often frozen or freeze-dried. The latest batch of air-dried blueberries comes from Bosnia again and we have packed them in 125g, 250g and 1kg bags. The difference between wild and cultivated blueberries They look almost the same. Both are blue, round and taste great. But what are the differences between these two berries? Wild blueberries compared to cultivated blueberries have a higher vitamin content and a much higher anthocyanin content. Blueberry has become a universal name for blue-coloured berries of the Vaccinium genus, but it is good to know the difference between cultivated blueberries (often called American blueberries or blueberries) and wild blueberries (European blueberries). While cultivated blueberries are grown in various places around the world, wild blueberries grow on small bushes mainly in the northern parts of the Northern Hemisphere. The anthocyanins in the wild blueberry are visible to the eye as blue and red pigments in the flesh, which is juicy and bluish-purple in colour. The cultivated blueberry, on the other hand, has an almost transparent white and somewhat floury flesh. The wild blueberry has certainly been used since the 16th century, both the dried berries and the leaves. Modern interest stems in part from the use of the fruit by British pilots during the Second World War, when pilots noticed that their night vision was better on bombing missions after eating bilberry jam. Nowadays, only garden blueberries (American blueberries) from cultivation are available, which are simply not as good and significantly less rich in vital substances than wild blueberries. How to integrate them into your daily diet? Thanks to their intense, typical blueberry flavour, they are perfect as an addition to muesli, smoothies and as a dessert topping. When making smoothies, we recommend soaking the wild blueberries overnight to make them easier to blend. They also go well in yoghurt (including vegan coconut yoghurt) and honey. A real treat! It significantly improves strength and stamina and is a libido-boosting superfood. It helps to rebuild a weakened immune system, remineralise malnourished bodies and increase energy and endurance. Maca is rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, iron, zinc, iodine, copper, selenium and other minerals. It is also rich in vitamins B1, B2, C and E. Maca is rich in biologically available protein, with an average of 11% in the dried root. It contains more calcium than milk, which is essential for the nervous system, the circulatory system, the growth of bones and teeth, and vital heart functions. The maca plant is one of the most powerful plants on earth. We love it because it boosts energy levels and combats mental and physical fatigue as well as stress. It helps us feel strong, energised, grounded and happy, and ready to take on any challenge. Its energy is immediately noticeable and long-lasting, leaving us feeling active and lively all day long without overstimulating our bodies. On top of all this, maca has a pleasant, malty flavour and can be used in many different ways. For legal reasons (Swiss Food Ordinance), as food retailers we are not permitted to make any claims regarding its potential effects. Please do your own research on maca online. We find Dr Schweikart’s website, amongst others, very informative. The different varieties are also described there. What makes our red maca powder special? Our red maca comes from 100% red maca roots. Studies have shown that they have the highest phytonutrient content of all maca colours. It is the most effective variety for general hormonal balance, female fertility, and bone and prostate health. Red maca accounts for around 25 per cent of the annual harvest. It is the sweetest variety of all. The red maca tubers all come from altitudes of over 4,000 metres above sea level in the Junín region of Peru. SamaraNatura Maca Powder is made from 100% pure, natural, organically grown maca roots, produced under strict manufacturing standards and quality controls. Our powder is made from selected, sun-dried roots using a special production process that does not involve heat or irradiation at any stage of the production process. Our suppliers work with smallholders, thereby creating jobs for the local population and advising them on how to organise themselves as small business owners by offering training and financial support. This helps to raise the standard of living for smallholders whilst also increasing their crop yields. History and traditional use Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is a hearty root vegetable grown in the high Andes of Peru. It was cultivated even before the time of the Incas and has been a staple food for the indigenous peoples of the Andes for thousands of years, as well as a source of energy and stamina. In our modern world, the maca root is consumed by Peruvians and people all over the world up to three times a day. It is used by everyone from professional athletes to older people to provide extra energy and stamina. How should red maca powder be used? Maca has a unique flavour, which not everyone likes straight away when trying it for the first time. We find it malty, earthy and slightly sweet, or sometimes even a little nutty. Mix the maca powder with water, (nut) milk of your choice, or use it as an additional ingredient. Its flavour profile works very well in smoothies, muesli or desserts. A tip for those who still need to get used to the taste of maca: combining it with Criollo cocoa powder is not only delicious but also nutritionally beneficial. Maca also acts as a good thickener for soups, making it a delicious addition. We particularly like it with porridge and as an ingredient in our raw chocolate recipes. Start with a small amount of ½ teaspoon per day and increase to up to 1–2 tablespoons per day. Cocoa nibs Peru - 100% natural and unprocessed Update: Due to the cocoa shortage, we are currently not receiving 100% Criollo nibs from our supplier. The new batch contains 70% Criollo cocoa. The remaining 30% are Forastero, Trinitario and Nacional. They are also high quality, certified organic and from Peru. This is whyour cocoa nibs are temporarily called "Cocoa Nibs Peru". In comparison, they have a slightly more intense flavour and are slightly bitter, but are also very tasty. Cocoa nibs (also known as cocoa nibs) are obtained from cocoa beans by peeling them and breaking them into pieces. They taste even less bitter than cocoa beans. Our cocoa nibs made from fine flavoured cocoa are 100% raw and unprocessed. The fine flavoured cocoa is grown by small farmers in the Amazon rainforest under semi-wild conditions. Cocoa has all the benefits of chocolate, but without the unwanted high sugar content and additives. Why consume cocoa nibs? The cocoa bean is an amazing food given to us by Mother Nature. It was considered a gift from God by the Aztecs and was used not only as an offering but also as a means of payment. It has been determined that raw cocoa contains around 300 substances. Cocoa has the highest magnesium content of all foods. Magnesium is a component of bones and teeth, plays an important role in energy metabolism and is essential for normal muscle function and energy metabolism. Magnesium also plays a role in skeletal development and is important in the transmission of stimuli in the nervous system during muscle contraction. Cocoa beans contain a combination of substances that have a positive effect on our mood and trigger feelings of well-being and joy. What makes our organic cocoa nibs special? Our cocoa nibs are 100% raw and unprocessed. They come from the Criollo fine flavoured cocoa variety from Peru, which is one of the rarest and best varieties in the world. Our fine flavoured cocoa is cultivated without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilisers. Fine flavoured cocoa varieties only account for 5-10% of global cocoa production. They grow under similar, often almost natural conditions, as they do not tolerate direct sunlight and thrive alongside other tall rainforest trees. Forastero industrial cocoa, on the other hand, is usually grown in monoculture plantations. As the name suggests, fine flavoured cocoa tastes better, finer and less bitter than consumer cocoa. Criollo cocoa beans are lightly fermented and therefore develop more of their typical cocoa flavour. Cocoa nibs are extracted from the cocoa bean by peeling it and breaking it into pieces. The quality of our organic, fairly traded, certified Criollo cocoa is of great purity and free from mycotoxins, mould and yeast, preventing you from experiencing that nervous tension associated with the consumption of caffeinated foods and drinks. How to use cocoa nibs? On their own as a snack or sprinkled on muesli and fruit salad. Add to desserts and smoothies. Cocoa nibs taste particularly good together with goji berries and nuts. Cocoa nibs are practical for travelling and on the go, as they do not soften as quickly as normal chocolate in the sun. If you prefer more sweetness, you can dip the cocoa nibs in agave syrup or honey. Organic barley grass juice powder, raw food grade (100% natural) Why barley grass juice powder? Barley grass juice powder is often described as the ultimate superfood powder! Our 100% pure barley grass juice powder (free from any additives – including those not subject to labelling requirements – or carriers such as maltodextrin) is a great and simple alternative to fresh barley grass, as not everyone has the time or inclination to grow fresh grass and juice it themselves. Simply mix it with water or your favourite liquid and you’ll have pure barley grass juice. What are the health benefits of barley grass juice powder? Barley grass juice contains many valuable vitamins and nutrients. The chlorophyll it contains also has a beneficial effect. What makes our barley grass juice powder special? For our organic barley grass juice powder, the juice is pressed from young barley grass and then gently processed into powder. It is 100% pure juice powder, without any additives or carriers such as maltodextrin. Our organic barley grass juice powder comes from an unspoilt region of the USA, where it is harvested at the peak of its nutrient density. The producer has optimised the processing method over many years and now guarantees raw food quality, meaning the entire process takes place at temperatures below 42°C. The rich green colour is a testament to its high chlorophyll (plant green) content. Differences between barley grass juice powder and barley grass powder The two forms of processing – grass powder and juice powder – each have their own advantages. The main difference between grass powder and juice powder lies in the dietary fibre content. In barley grass powder, this is a very high 35 to 40 per cent. Dietary fibre has a satiating effect, stimulates digestion and prevents constipation. This barley grass juice powder, on the other hand, contains only 5.7 per cent dietary fibre. As a result, the nutrients and vital substances (including chlorophyll) are present in a concentrated form. Another important difference lies in the taste. Whilst the grass powder tastes like dried grass (slightly bitter), this barley grass juice powder is characterised by flavours reminiscent of spinach and green herbs, as well as a salty aftertaste. Visually, the two varieties can be easily distinguished. The barley grass powder is a significantly lighter green than the barley grass juice powder. You can find all the information about barley grass powder here. Tips for incorporating barley grass juice powder into your daily diet Barley grass juice powder goes perfectly with water and many other liquids such as smoothies orange juice coconut water water kefir fresh fruit and vegetable juices Recipe with barley grass juice powder E.g.: Detox smoothie 1 tsp barley grass juice powder2 tbsp dried wild blueberries or 2 tbsp wild blueberry powder 1 tsp spirulina powder (Hawaii, Taiwan or Austria) 1 tbsp Atlantic dulse powder or 1 small handful of dulse flakes1 large bunch of fresh corianderJuice of 2 oranges 1 banana Water as required More recipes here. Recommended intake Start with ½ teaspoon daily, increasing to ½–1 teaspoon 2–3 times a day as required. Best taken half an hour before meals. Storage Store in a cool, dark and dry place. As barley grass juice powder is spray-dried, it clumps more quickly than barley grass powder, which is air-dried. Theclumping is caused by moisture absorption from the air. From our own experience, we recommend: always seal the packet airtight. Unfortunately, the zip on the bag tends to stick over time, which is why sealing clips are very handy. Transfer some of the powder into a jar with a screw-top lid for easier handling. Store the bags/jars in a kitchen cupboard (in the dark) as far away from the hob as possible (to avoid moisture from cooking). We advise against storing it in the fridge, as this would cause condensation. A consistent room temperature is ideal. Hulled hemp seeds - protein-rich power food Hemp seeds are characterised by an unusually high nutrient density. Rich in easily digestible protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre and lecithin in perfect balance for our bodies. Hemp has an optimal functional ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids for humans, which is generally considered to be 4:1. Hemp seeds are therefore an excellent brain food, beautify the skin and promote the oxygen supply to the cells. Hemp seeds are a good food for the supply of EFS, linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. These fatty acids are required for the production of numerous hormones and for cell renewal. They support the functions of the human body to maintain health and contribute to the normal development and growth of the organism. Omega-3 fatty acids are incorporated into the cell membrane and are necessary for its structure and function. Omega-3 fatty acids have an influence on blood lipid regulation. They contribute to health as part of a balanced diet. An ideal food for athletes, as edible hemp builds muscle and increases endurance. Vegetarians also benefit from this rich and high-quality source of protein. In contrast to whole seeds, hulled hemp seeds have a low fibre content. Why we love hulled hemp seeds Hemp seeds are a wonderful gift from nature. Not only are they one of the most nutritious foods on the planet, they are also the most environmentally friendly food ever! Hemp grows easily everywhere, requires no pesticides or herbicides and is suitable for the production of almost everything we need in our modern society: Clothes, paper, biodegradable plastic, fuel, cars, building insulation, just to name a few. In addition, hemp seeds offer outstanding health benefits. They contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids (including the rare gamma-linolenic acid!) that the body cannot produce itself and that are necessary for maintaining healthy human life. Hardly any other plant source contains essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form or essential fatty acids in such an optimal ratio for humans. Because shelled hemp seeds are so rich in important nutrients, we consume plenty of them every day. A feat that is easy to accomplish, as hulled hemp seeds are a delicious and versatile food. SamaraNatura hulled hemp seeds Our hulled hemp seeds are obtained from legal, officially authorised cultivars that are grown in Austria without pesticides or agrochemicals. The omega-3 content in hemp seeds is higher when the plant grows in cooler climates, such as in Germany and Austria. Use of hulled hemp seeds Delicious on their own or sprinkled over salads, soups and other dishes; as an ingredient in smoothies, muesli and desserts. Beginner or child (2-9 years): 15-30 grams per day Teenager (10-18 years): 30-50 grams Adults: 50-75 grams per day Competitive athletes: up to 140 grams per day Hemp seeds should only be eaten raw and should not be cooked with food. As hemp seeds do not contain the enzyme inhibitors typical of many seeds, they can be eaten raw without having to soak them in water first. You can also drink hemp fresh in the form of milk by pureeing the peeled seeds in water and straining them if necessary (see recipe). Our goji berries are grown in the fertile valleys of Ningxia Province in China without the use of pesticides and agrochemicals. There, on their native soil, the berries ripen on the bush, are harvested in the summer months and dried at low temperatures to preserve as many nutrients as possible. The berries are dried to a water content of 10-14% for a soft texture and can be rehydrated by simply soaking if required. Our pure goji berries are raw food quality, vegan and organically grown. Chlorella Vulgaris Tablets (100% natural) Chlorella is a microscopically small single-celled algae that occurs naturally in fresh water. It is the oldest known form of plant life that has a true cell nucleus. Chlorella has been used and revered as a powerful food in many traditional cultures. Why consume chlorella? Chlorella provides many valuable nutrients for the body. Minerals, rare trace elements, vitamins (including vitamin D) and a broad spectrum of enzymes (including pepsin). Chlorella consists of 60% complete and easily digestible proteins. It also contains essential fatty acids and secondary plant substances such as carotenoids, lutein, astaxanthin and others. Chlorella has the highest chlorophyll content of all known plants, four times as much as normal plants! Chlorophyll (plant green) is said to have a detoxifying and antioxidant effect on our body. What makes our chlorella tablets special? Our chlorella tablets are made from 100% natural organic chlorella microalgae powder. The tablets are pressed on site from fresh powder without any pressing aids or additives. To ensure the high quality requirements, each batch of organic chlorella tablets is checked for toxins, heavy metals and other contaminants by an independent laboratory in Germany. Where does our chlorella come from and how is it processed? Our chlorella comes from an algae farm in southern Taiwan, which was the first to be recognised by the German organic farming association Naturland. Laboratory tests have shown that this chlorella (along with only one other) is one of the cleanest chlorella strains in the world! The algae grow outdoors under intense sunlight in pure fresh water of drinking water quality. The cultivation of only strong, healthy microalgae strains guarantees first-class quality. The microalgae are gently harvested at the time of highest nutrient density, then pre-centrifuged and spray-dried within 3 seconds using a special process. The hard cell wall of chlorella is gently broken up using a vacuum process to make it easier to digest. During this process, the temperature of the mass does not rise above 40°C -> raw food quality. What makes chlorella unique? Chlorella can quadruple in quantity every 20 hours, and no other plant on earth can do that! This is due to the so-called Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF), a complex of many substances in very small quantities, including RNA, DNA, amino acids, vitamins and minerals, the exact properties of which have not yet been identified. However, laboratory tests have shown that the addition of CGF stimulates growth processes by increasing the growth of beneficial bacteria such as Lactobacillus by up to 400%. Because of its nutritional richness, chlorella is nature's ideal food. When you use chlorella together with spirulina, you have almost perfect ratios of all the important nutrients the body needs. Chlorella has been the subject of intensive research. Use: Chlorella tablets Chlorella can be taken in tablet form or as a powder. The tablets are easier to take, but their quality can be affected by the possible use of binding agents and heating during production (does not apply to our tablets). Powdered chlorella can be mixed into vegetable and fruit juices or smoothies. It adds a rich, thick texture to any liquid. Chlorella can also be added to foods such as cream cheese, mayonnaise, ice cream, pasta and rice. Recommended amounts of chlorella tablets: Start with 400 mg (1 tablet) per day and increase slowly as your body becomes accustomed to chlorella. Children and beginners: 1 - 8 tablets per day Adults: 12 - 15 tablets per day Composition Chlorella tablets 100% chlorella, no tableting aids. Cold-pressed Swiss organic hemp oil 100ml Update: Naturkostbar no longer produces hemp oil, which is why we have switched to hemp oil made from Swiss hemp seeds from Oelerei in Fehraltorf. At the Naturkostbar Fanufaktur in Uetendorf near Thun, this hemp oil is pressed from organic hemp seeds from the Bernese Seeland using a water-cooled oil mill (to prevent heat build-up) at temperatures below 37°C. It is rich in omega 3 (alpha-linolenic acid) and omega 6 (linoleic acid) fatty acids, which are also in an optimal ratio of 1:3. Hemp is a very undemanding, mostly annual plant. Due to its resilience, it can also be grown very well in Switzerland without pesticides. Except for the rainy summer of 2021, hemp produces very good harvests. Certified organic Swiss producer and seeds Naturkostbar presses only organic seeds into high-quality edible oils using a water-cooled oil mill. Organic certification: BTA CH-BIO-038 In addition to this Swiss hemp oil, we have various other chilled organic edible oils from Naturkostbar in our range. Use of hemp oil With its wonderful flavour, hemp oil is ideal for flavouring vegetable dishes and salads. A homemade salad dressing with hemp oil tastes great and is good for you! Hemp oil is also suitable for use on the skin and hair, as it can have a regenerating and cell-renewing effect. Note 1: Cold-pressed oils (except coconut oil) are sensitive to heat and are therefore mainly suitable for use in cold dishes. Toxic compounds can form when heated to high temperatures, e.g. frying. Note 2: Store in the refrigerator after opening. Update 12.12.2025: The hemp protein 65% (made from unroasted, hulled, Austrian organic hemp seeds) is now available again in both 250g and 500g sizes. Hemp protein powder with 65% protein content (100% natural) The powder contains vegetable protein with all the essential amino acids and is therefore a complete source of protein, providing all the vital protein building blocks that cannot be produced by the body itself. Hemp protein powder is obtained from hemp seeds after oil pressing, which are then finely ground and sieved. Why consume hemp protein powder? Contains essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, fibre and lecithin in perfect balance for our body Gluten and lactose free Ideal component of a healthy diet and is therefore also popular with athletes, vegetarians and vegans Particularly easy for the body to utilise (conversion of hemp proteins into immunoglobulins of the immune system): The proteins found in edible hemp have a very similar molecular structure to human proteins Biological value of the protein in hemp: Comparable to that of eggs or meat, but free of cholesterol and unhealthy trans fatty acids One of the most nutritious and environmentally friendly foods on the planet: Hemp grows easily anywhere, requires no pesticides or herbicides What makes our hemp protein powder special? The hemp seeds for our protein powder come from controlled organic cultivation. They are obtained from legal, officially authorised varieties that are cultivated in Austria without pesticides or agrochemicals. Obtained from hulled hemp seeds: As a result, our protein powder has one of the highest protein contents at 65%. The products of other suppliers generally contain between 45% and 50%. There are also clear differences in colour and taste: while hemp protein from unpeeled hemp seeds has a green colour and smells distinctly of hemp, our powder is yellowish and has only a subtle hemp aroma. How to integrate hemp protein into your daily diet? Smoothies / juice / rice milk: add hemp protein powder to your drink Muesli or yoghurt: sprinkle hemp protein powder over muesli or yoghurt Baked goods: Use hemp protein powder to replace some of the flour in your baking recipes Protein bars: Make your own protein bars by mixing hemp protein powder with nuts, seeds and fruit Spreads: Add hemp protein powder to hummus, guacamole or other spreads Use 1 to 3 tablespoons per day as required. This corresponds to approx. 10 - 30g of pure protein. Athletes usually consume their protein shake 30 minutes before and after training. Update: Clearance sale of the current batch with a best-before date of 31 October 2026 for CHF 2.00 instead of 17.00 (500g) or CHF 3.50 instead of 17.50 (1kg bag). Unshelled hemp seeds from Austria (100% natural) Hemp seeds are characterised by an unusually high nutrient density. They are rich in easily digestible protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre and lecithin, in a perfect balance for our bodies. Hemp seeds possess an optimal ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids for humans, generally considered to be 4:1. Hemp seeds are therefore excellent brain food, improve the appearance of the skin and promote oxygen supply to the cells. Hemp seeds are a good source of EFAs, including linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. These fatty acids are required for the production of numerous hormones and for cell renewal. They support the functions of the human body in maintaining health and contribute to the normal development and growth of the organism. Omega-3 fatty acids are incorporated into cell membranes and are essential for their structure and function. Omega-3 fatty acids influence the regulation of blood lipids. As part of a balanced diet, they contribute to good health. An ideal food for athletes, as edible hemp builds muscle and increases stamina. Vegetarians also benefit from this rich and high-quality source of protein. Unlike hulled seeds, whole hemp seeds are high in fibre. Why we love hemp seeds Hemp seeds are a wonderful gift from nature. Not only are they one of the most nutritious foods on the planet, but also the most environmentally friendly food of all time! Hemp grows easily anywhere, requires no pesticides or herbicides, and can be used to produce almost everything we need in our modern society: clothing, paper, biodegradable plastic, fuel, cars and building insulation, to name but a few. What’s more, hemp seeds offer outstanding health benefits. They contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids (including the rare gamma-linolenic acid!) that the body cannot produce itself and which are necessary for maintaining good health. Hardly any other plant source contains essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form, or the essential fatty acids in a ratio so optimal for humans! Because hemp seeds are so rich in important nutrients, we consume them in generous quantities every day. This is easy to do, as hemp seeds are a delicious and versatile food. SamaraNatura Organic Whole/Unshelled Hemp Seeds SamaraNatura hemp seeds are sourced from legal, officially approved cultivars grown in Germany and Austria without the use of pesticides or agrochemicals. The omega-3 content in hemp seeds is higher when the plant grows in a cooler climate, such as in Germany and Austria. Uses for whole hemp seeds Delicious on their own as a snack, sprinkled whole over salads, or ground and added to soups and other dishes (also lightly toasted); as an ingredient in smoothies and muesli. Beginners or children (2–9 years): 15–30 grams per day Teenagers (10–18 years): 30–50 grams Adults: 50–75 grams per day Competitive athletes: up to 140 grams per day Hemp seeds should only be eaten raw and not cooked. As hemp seeds do not contain the enzyme inhibitors typical of many seeds, they are perfectly fine to eat raw without having to soak them in water first. Hemp can also be enjoyed fresh as a milk by puréeing the seeds in water and then straining the mixture (see recipe). Nutritional values for whole/unhulled hemp seeds per 100g Energy 1955 kJ/475 kcal,Fat 34 g,of which saturated fatty acids 3.4g,monounsaturated fatty acids 5g,polyunsaturated fatty acids 24 g,Carbohydrates 1.6 g,of which sugars 1g,fibre 39g,protein 22g.All figures are subject to the variations typical of natural products. Are hemp seeds gluten-free? According to the law, a product may be labelled ‘gluten-free’ if it contains no more than 20 mg of gluten per kg. This is certainly the case for unhulled hemp seeds, as well as all other hemp products, as hemp is naturally gluten-free. However, there are several reasons why hemp seeds may still contain traces of gluten: Cross-contamination during harvesting: The combine harvester used to harvest hemp seeds usually also threshes other plants such as millet or cereals. Residues from previous harvests always get lodged in the crevices of the machine. Depending on how the combine harvester is used, this could unfortunately also mean that wheat residues are present. Cross-contamination in the field: The farmer generally only grows hemp in the hemp field. However, the open field cannot be shielded from plants that are carried into the hemp field by the wind and which also grow there the following year.

Update: Both size variants (250g and 500g) are now from the new batch with best before 31.08.2027. Inca berry - sweet and sour superfruit Inca berries (Physalis peruviana), also known as Andean or Cape gooseberries, grow wild in the mineral-rich soils of the Peruvian Andes and have been enjoyed in South American cultures for thousands of years. An ancient food and one of the last products cultivated by the Incas, they have been undergoing a worldwide rediscovery in recent years. The delicious, sweet and sour berries grow in protective paper-like shells that look like small Chinese lanterns. Why we love Inca berries Inca berries have an exquisite, exotic, sweet and sour flavour that is second to none. A delicious snack. Connoisseurs like to enjoy them with chocolate products and wine. The Inca berry is also known as the "goji berry of South America". The small, chewable seeds of the Andean berries have a slightly laxative effect. SamaraNatura organic Inca berries SamaraNatura Inca berries are of raw food quality and are grown without pesticides or agrochemicals. Our Inca berries are soft and relatively sweet, not as sour as they are usually found. Harvesting and drying these precious little berries is a very time-consuming job, hence the relatively high price. In fact, it takes one person a whole day to clean only about 10kg of fresh fruit. The berries are placed in sun dryers and taken out again when they have reached the perfect level of moisture and are still a little soft. It takes about 3kg of fresh fruit for 500g of dried berries. Use Excellent as a snack on their own. Their exquisite, exotic flavour goes perfectly with chocolate and wine. Inca berries enrich many desserts, smoothies, mueslis, baked goods, trail mixes and jams. The unmistakable balance of sweet and sour flavour also goes well with chia pudding and lucuma. Irish Carragheen Moss Irish carragheen moss is an algae that grows mainly on rocks along the Atlantic coast of Europe. It was first discovered near Ireland, hence the name. Why consume Irish moss? Irish moss is thought to contain at least 15 essential elements that are key components of the human body. Some of the elements found in the algae, which are present in impressive quantities: Calcium, potassium, iodine and vitamins such as A, D and E. The main health benefits of Irish moss are due to its high carrageenan content (up to 71%). This substance has been used for centuries as a traditional medicine to make medicinal teas and cough syrups to combat colds, bronchitis and even hangovers after excessive alcohol consumption. We appreciate that Irish Moss soothes the digestive and respiratory tracts and is excellent for sensitive guts and stomachs. Ideal food for sensitive people. Irish moss is the main source of carrageenan, which is used as a vegan thickening agent in many products and recipes and has recently been patented as an antiviral agent. It is the vegan version of gelatine and is widely used as a thickening agent in stews, sauces, jams and many desserts. We have used Irish moss in several dessert recipes and it works wonderfully to make them airy and light, and it reduces the large amount of nuts needed, which is often used in vegan recipes. It also contributes a large amount of minerals to recipes and is virtually flavourless. A perfect addition to smoothies. Last but not least, it is a very affordable and easy way to include many minerals in our diets that might otherwise go to waste. Irish moss for the skin Our personal experience is that it is very good for dry skin, including eczema and other skin conditions. We always keep a jar of Irish Moss nearby to use on our skin. What makes our Irish Moss special? The harvesting area is in Kilcar/Donegal in the north-west of Ireland. Harvesting is done by hand, with great respect and care for the marine environment. The harvested seaweed is rinsed on the shore and then dried at low temperatures to preserve its rich nutritional content. Our organic certification requires that all seaweed is harvested only from clean shores, free from contamination, that the seaweed is processed within just a few hours and that the harvesters work with the utmost respect for the marine environment. In addition, regular analyses ensure that all algae products are safe and healthy to eat. Algaran also guarantees with full documentation that their seaweed is only of local Irish origin, that it contains no heavy metals (contamination index), that processing temperatures never exceed 30°C and that it is freshly harvested (date of harvest is on the label). Interesting facts about Irish moss The Irish people used the seaweed during the Irish famine in the 19th century and since then its popularity has grown exponentially. Irish moss also grows on rocks on Jamaica's shores and its popularity on the island grew when the Irish brought their traditional use of the seaweed to the island. It is one of the most commonly used seaweeds. In Ireland, for example, it is traditionally used for colds and as a tonic in the cold winters, while in other countries it is also known as an aphrodisiac. Use of Irish moss | Recipe recommendation The basic jelly made from Irish moss contains all the minerals and nutrients of the plant and can be used in delicious desserts. The basic jelly is made as follows: Soak 20g of Irish moss in a bowl of cold water for 30-60 minutes and then rinse. Pour 9dl of water and the soaked Irish moss into a pan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 to 60 minutes. Stir from time to time to ensure the mixture does not stick to the bottom of the pan. The Irish moss will break into pieces and the mixture will become gelatinous. While the mixture is still warm, remove any fragments that have not yet dissolved and pour the gel into sterilised bottles and keep in the fridge. Use a spoonful in desserts, soups, stews, sauces, smoothies or dissolve in water for a soothing tea (add your favourite spices). It will keep in the fridge for several weeks. When it starts to smell slightly spicy, the mixture is spoilt and can no longer be used. Irish moss is also excellent to apply to the skin: for burns, chapped skin, eczema and cold sores. It is very often used in the natural cosmetics industry for its soothing and antiviral properties. Irish wakame - wild collections from the Irish Atlantic coast Irish wakame is an algae that grows mainly on rocks along the Atlantic coast of Europe. It was first discovered near Ireland, hence the name. The Irish people used the seaweed during the Irish famine in the 19th century and since then its popularity has grown exponentially. Why we love Irish wakame With its high calcium content, this seaweed is a great addition to the diet. The taste of wakame is quite acceptable by seaweed standards as it does not have a fishy flavour. Algaran Irish Wakame The harvesting area is in Kilcar/Donegal in the north-west of Ireland. All AlgAran seaweed is harvested by hand with great respect and care for the marine environment. Organic jujube with stone from wild collection in premium quality Update: The new batch of jujube will be packed on 29 May at the latest and will be available again from then. Attention: These are whole jujubes with stone. Be careful when eating! Jujubes belong to the botanical family of buckthorn plants and have been cultivated in China for over 4000 years. There are at least 400 varieties of jujube. Although they are sometimes referred to as red dates, Chinese dates or Indian dates, they are not related to dates and grow on relatively small trees, Ziziphus jujube, which thrive in extreme temperatures. Jujubes are brown-red on the outside and beige on the inside, with a crispy, edible skin and a sweet flavour like a mixture of dried apples, pears and dates with a marshmallow texture. Why consume Jujubes? Jujubes contain a wide range of different nutrients, including 18 of the most important amino acids and magnesium, potassium, copper, niacin, calcium, manganese, phosphorus and iron. They contain high amounts of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system and fights infections. This is possibly the reason why they have been used for thousands of years in many cultures as a tea for sore throats, for example. Test the effect of a jujube tea if you have a cough or sore throat. You can find the recipe in the Recipes tab. The flavonoid apigenin (also found in camomile, thyme and red wine) contains antioxidants and can have a positive effect on the liver, digestion and allergies. It is also said to be anti-inflammatory. What makes our wild organic jujubes special? Our red dates come from certified organic cultivation in north-west China. This is where the flavour and special ingredients develop well in the warm and long summers. The jujubes are carefully harvested and dried at below 42°C by gentle solar drying and then sorted by hand. Jujube is a super delicious fruit with a unique texture that is extremely rare to find. It is not too sweet and is an ideal, healthy snack. How to use jujubes? We recommend these interesting jujube berries, which are a little less sweet than other dried fruits, as a snack between meals. Coconut butter from Naturkostbar In the warm, subtropical climate of Sri Lanka, coconuts grow on magnificent coconut palms lining the kilometre-long sandy beaches. They are harvested and cracked by hand, then grated and dried at low temperatures. Naturkostbar imports the raw coconut flakes and produces this delicate coconut butter in Uetendorf near Thun. Using a traditional stone-milling process, the coconut is ground particularly gently and slowly into a creamy butter. This slow processing allows the flavours to develop even better and gives the butter a wonderfully delicate consistency. Uses The coconut purée enhances countless dishes, from savoury (e.g. curries) to sweet (desserts). With its velvety, silky texture, it lends many dishes an exotic, incomparable flavour. It also enhances smoothies, muesli, ice cream and desserts. Tip: Spread coconut purée on breadinstead of butter. Pack sizes Coconut butter is currently only available in a 200g jar. Nutritional values of coconut butter per 100g Naturkostbar’s coconut butter is made exclusively from ripe coconuts and is a source of many minerals. Phosphorus, iron and magnesium support our energy metabolism. Magnesium, in particular, ensures a supply to muscle cells, helping to prevent painful cramps during exercise. Phosphorus is required for energy production and utilisation and also plays a role in building our bones. Organic lucuma powder - heavenly delicious fruit powder What is lucuma powder? Lucuma (Pouteria lucuma), the "sweet gold of the Incas", is a subtropical, exotic fruit from South America that has long been revered by the ancient Andean culture. Why buy lucuma powder? Healthy fruit sweetness with a low glycaemic index Particularly rich in beta-carotene, iron, vitamin B1 and B2 Versatile ingredient for cakes, desserts and ice creams Ever since we got to know Lucuma powder, it has been one of our favourite foods. The healthy fruit sweetness with a low glycaemic index is particularly rich in beta-carotene, iron, vitamin B1 and B2. Its biscuit-like sweetness makes it a favourite in (raw) cakes, desserts and chocolates. We like to add it to our creams and ice creams and as a gourmet ingredient to all sweets - the wonderful flavour and biscuit-like sweetness of lucuma powder enhances every dessert. In Peru, the yellowish-orange fruit is the most popular flavour in ice cream. What makes our lucuma powder special? Free from pesticides and agrochemicals Raw food quality Gentle processing Best flavour Lucuma from SamaraNatura is free from pesticides and agrochemicals. The lucuma pulp is dried in a solar drying plant at low temperatures in accordance with raw food quality standards, then gently ground and sieved. Although lucuma also grows in other tropical regions, the flavour of the fruit that grows in the Peruvian highlands is rated even better. This is where our lucuma powder comes from. The beautiful, dark yellow powder has a flavour reminiscent of maple syrup and cashews. Tips for use Lucuma powder is an extremely versatile and tasty ingredient that works well in ice creams, baby food, yoghurts, cakes, chocolate and desserts and can be used for lucuma mousse, pudding or parfait. It is ideal as a sweet flour for pies, cakes and pastries and tastes delicious in smoothies, nut milks and other drinks. The powder produces a rich, creamy consistency and transforms your raw food creations into a heavenly gourmet treat! We mostly use it in sweet dishes, but we have been told that it also tastes great in savoury dishes. Just like maca, lucuma helps to combine and emulsify fats and oils with sugar and polysaccharides. For example, lucuma is ideal as an ingredient for a dish or drink with cocoa nibs (50% fat) and yacon root syrup (polysaccharides). It combines cocoa and yacon in flavour and consistency. Organic sprouted almonds – double the magnesium and calcium content These organic almonds from Spain are soaked and sprouted at the Naturkostbar factory for several hours. They are then dried for 24 hours at a maximum temperature of 42°C. The sprouting process neutralises the phytic acid present in the almonds and significantly increases their nutrient density. Update: The Marine Phytoplankton from Oceans Alive® is now called Recharge and has been given a new design. Marine phytoplankton - superfood from the sea Phytoplankton are microscopic marine algae that form the basis of the food chain. This unique superfood from the ocean can noticeably boost the body's energy levels, especially when consumed daily. Due to its abundance of minerals and vitamins and the original life force absorbed from the sun, one can experience a new, whole-body inner strength by taking the concentrate. People who consume marine phytoplankton report many positive experiences for the body. Marine phytoplankton is a living, holistic and concentrated raw food that can be preserved without refrigeration. Because it is very concentrated, you only need a small amount. Why we love marine phytoplankton The microscopic plants that form the immeasurably large base of the oceanic food chain produce an incredible amount of energy - five times the annual energy consumption of the human world, according to a study by Florida State University! Phytoplankton stores as much energy as humans produce in a year. This makes phytoplankton not only an incredible source of nutrition, but also a significant source of bio-energy. Marine phytoplankton produces more oxygen than all the forests on earth combined. Phytoplankton is a precious, complete food, "Mother Earth's milk from the sea", giving the body virtually all the raw materials it needs in a single food source. Phytoplankton is the smallest of all microalgae. Oceans Alive® Recharge Marine Phytoplankton The marine phytoplankton is cultivated in Spain, is of raw food quality and is produced without the use of pesticides or agrochemicals. After extensive research on phytoplankton, only four species out of 400 were found to be particularly beneficial to humans, from which a particularly nutritious species was selected for production as human food. This particular species grows in sophisticated bio-reactors with natural seawater in a simulated "spring bloom environment" where natural photosynthesis is enabled with the help of sunlight. To produce the liquid solution, the living biomass is mixed with a concentrated ionic trace element solution as soon as it is removed from the centrifuge. The concentrated solution, which is produced in a natural evaporation process using sun and wind, contains more than 90 ionic minerals and trace elements. The purified seawater concentrate can preserve the original life energy of the marine phytoplankton in "suspended animation" so that it can be bottled and stored at room temperature without loss of quality. The living solution is then charged with biophotons and potentised with its own frequency to maximise its life force. The result is a living, holistic, concentrated raw food quality food that does not require refrigeration. Uses Marine phytoplankton is very concentrated, even a small amount is sufficient. Recommended intake: 5-15 drops daily, starting with a smaller amount and increasing over a longer period of time. It is easiest to drip the concentrate under the tongue, whereby the essential nutrients are absorbed directly into the body without passing through the digestive system. You can also put the drops in a jug of water and drink it throughout the day. Another option is to take the liquid essence with your favourite drink (juice, smoothie, milk drink). There is said to be a special synergy between water kefir and marine phytoplankton. Try it out. Marine phytoplankton is best when taken with liquids and on an empty stomach so that the body fully absorbs the nutrients. Children: Children (from 18 months) can also take marine phytoplankton. However, it is advisable to reduce the amount to 5-10 drops per day. From the age of 15, the adult dose of 5-15 drops can be taken. The challenge with children is unfortunately the taste. Marine phytoplankton has an intense algae flavour. If the child does not accept the flavour, we recommend mixing it with fruit juices. Note: Like almost all microalgae, marine phytoplankton is rich in vitamin K. Contents A 30ml bottle contains approximately 750 drops. 25 drops make approx. one millilitre. If you take 12 drops per day, the bottle will last for about 62 days. Nutritional information 12 drops contain 34mg magnesium, 336mg marine minerals, 130mg Nannochloropsis Gaditana algae and 14mg Tetraselmis phytoplankton. Ingredients Nannochloropsis Gaditana phytoplankton, Tetraselmis phytoplankton and concentrated, purified marine minerals. Storage Cool, dark and dry. Marine Phytoplankton is not heat-sensitive and does not need to be stored refrigerated even after opening. However, it is important that the product is not directly exposed to the sun. If you do not consume it for a longer period of time, it does not hurt to keep the open bottle in the refrigerator.

The production process is also unique. The unroasted cocoa beans are sorted by hand and then carefully processed in a stone mill. This process takes several hours, resulting in a tempting filling and the delicate chocolate that coats the pralines. Added to this is creamy, stone-ground cashew butter, which blends with the coconut blossom sugar, almond oil and Bourbon vanilla to create a unique treat. Green tea powder, sustainably grown, harvested and processed from organic, pesticide-free tea gardens in southern Japan, lends these special pralines a particularly refined note. Note: A white coating on the pralines is a natural fat bloom and may occur due to temperature fluctuations. It does not affect the quality. The pralines are made from 100% natural ingredients and contain no lecithin. Best stored at 18°C. Ingredients The matcha pralines are made from just a few, but very high-quality, ingredients: cashew butter*, coconut blossom sugar*, ground cocoa beans*, cocoa butter*, cold-pressed almond oil*, matcha green tea 5%*, Bourbon vanilla* *from organic farming Contents The attractive gift box contains 6 matcha pralines, totalling 72g. Serving suggestions Enjoy these exquisite Matcha pralines as a delicious dessert or as a little pick-me-up during challenging times. Of course, the matcha chocolates also make a wonderful special gift for birthdays, festive occasions or other important moments. Organic Sea Spaghetti (Sargassum) – Wild-harvested from the Irish Atlantic Sea spaghetti is a gluten-free and very low-calorie alternative to ordinary spaghetti and, like it, is simple and versatile to use. A healthy substitute for salt and essential for vegetarians, as it is rich in iodine! Belt seaweed, or sea vegetables in general, contain the widest range of minerals and trace elements of any food. Sea vegetables in general Sea vegetables are wild plants of the ocean that grow on coral reefs and rocky coasts, mostly in salt water. Sea vegetables are enjoyed in many coastal regions worldwide and enrich most dishes with flavour and nutrients. Sea vegetables contain almost all the minerals and trace elements the sea has to offer! In general, sea vegetables are an excellent source of calcium, iodine and sodium, a very good source of folic acid and magnesium, and a good source of iron, potassium, and vitamins B2 and B5. They also contain vitamin K and trace elements such as selenium and chromium, which are often lacking in land-grown vegetables due to depleted soils. If consumed regularly over a prolonged period, sea vegetables are said to help regulate metabolism and energy balance, stimulate the immune system, promote regular digestion, purify the blood and support the endocrine glands – particularly the thyroid. Sea vegetables are an ideal substitute for salt in the diet. Organic sea spaghetti (Himanthalia elongata) Sea spaghetti or ribbon kelp (Himanthalia elongata) is a special type of sea vegetable. It resembles spaghetti but tastes of seaweed. Much of the seaweed flavour disappears during soaking, making it as soft as pasta cooked al dente. Tossed with a delicious, warm sauce or pesto, you can quickly and easily create a highly nutritious meal. Why we love sea spaghetti We like it because it looks and feels like pasta, but has a completely different flavour – which is no bad thing! Sea spaghetti is extremely low in calories and gluten-free. It’s versatile, exceptionally nutritious and fun to prepare. Organic Sea Spaghetti from Algaran Our sea vegetables are foraged in the north-west of Ireland (Donegal) and harvested by hand. Using a cold-air drying system, the seaweed is dried very gently to raw food quality. It’s best to soak the spaghetti for at least 2 hours or overnight. As they soak, the spaghetti increase in volume and become soft, similar to pasta cooked al dente. Sea spaghetti is delicious, for example, with a tomato and chilli sauce with cashew cream or a tomato sauce with garlic and parsley. It also tastes delicious with pesto. 40g of dried sea spaghetti yields approximately 400g of soaked sea spaghetti.

MSM capsules - dietary supplements for joints and skin Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is an organic sulfur compound that is found in every human cell and in many foods (especially dairy products and eggs), but is destroyed during industrial processing and heating. MSM is involved in numerous metabolic processes, supports the production of important amino acids and is an essential building block for joints and cartilage. MSM is also important for collagen formation in the skin, hair and nails. Why we love MSM capsules MSM has many benefits. Among other things, it promotes the formation of collagen and thus contributes to beautiful, supple skin, healthy, shiny hair and strong nails. SamaraNatura MSM capsules with powder from oilseeds The vegan capsules contain 1000mg (1g) of MSM crystals (white, crystallised powder). Our MSM crystals are a 100% purely plant-based product and are made from oilseeds grown in Europe. Unfortunately, there are many MSM supplements on the Internet that are synthetic and made from petroleum. The vegi capsules are vegan and made from cellulose. Usage 1 capsule (1000mg) per day, in accordance with the Swiss Ordinance on Food Supplements. We recommend taking MSM only during the day until early afternoon, as many users feel more energised when taking MSM and to avoid insomnia. First time users should take MSM with a meal and drink plenty of water to prevent heartburn. It takes about two weeks before results are visible. Combining MSM with vitamin C Vitamin C improves the absorption of MSM. We therefore recommend combining it with foods rich in vitamin C or superfoods, such as sea buckthorn juice or camu camu powder. Important information on the use of MSM capsules In case of medical treatment, pregnancy or uncertainty, consult a specialist about the use of this product. As MSM can have a blood-thinning effect, people who use aspirin or blood-thinning medication must consult a qualified doctor before taking MSM. Keep out of the reach of children. Food supplement: The product is not intended as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. The recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Store the product in a cool, dark and dry place.

We recommend taking MSM only during the day until early afternoon, as many users feel more energised by taking MSM and to avoid insomnia.
