Spirulina algae powder from Taiwan in organic & raw food quality (100% natural) Spirulina platensis is a single-celled, spiral-shaped blue-green algae that has existed on our planet for thousands of years. It gets its typical deep dark colour from the green of the chlorophyll and the blue of the phycocyanin. Spirulina grows in shallow waters with an alkaline pH value between 9 and 11. As it has no cellulose shell, our body can easily break down and digest its components. Why is spirulina useful as a dietary supplement? The blue-green microalgae contains a wealth of nutrients and vital substances. Spirulina powder is particularly rich in protein, provitamin A (β-carotene), iron and vitamin K. The dark colour also indicates a high chlorophyll content. SamaraNatura spirulina algae powder Taiwan BIO Our very high-quality Spirulina platensis in raw food quality comes from controlled organic cultivation in southern Taiwan. It is cultivated in accordance with Naturland guidelines, in pure drinking water under natural climatic conditions and exclusively under sunlight. Compared to other spirulina, it has a very pleasant taste and an incredibly rich blue-green colour. Due to the gentle processing, it has raw food quality. To check the quality, each batch is tested by an independent laboratory in Germany for pesticides, bacteria, algae toxins, heavy metals and radioactivity. How do I use spirulina powder? Mix ½-1 teaspoon with water 3 times a day, as an ingredient for smoothies or with fruit and vegetable juices. As with all food supplements, we recommend starting cautiously and slowly increasing the amount used over the course of a week. This will allow your body to get used to the new product and avoid unwanted side effects such as indigestion. You will usually get used to the somewhat unique flavour quite quickly. If you find using the powder unpleasant even after a few weeks, we recommend using spirulina tablets. Combining spirulina and chlorella The two algae powders are very suitable for combined use due to their nutrients. We recommend taking spirulina together with chlorella in a ratio of 2:1, whereby the total recommended daily dose must not be exceeded. Spirulina powder - the high-quality original from Hawaii (100% natural) What is spirulina? Spirulina is a single-celled, filamentous blue-green algae and one of the first life forms on this planet. Richer in high-quality protein (contains 18 amino acids) than any other food, the microalgae also contains a wealth of vitamins, minerals, important antioxidants such as SOD and phycocyanin, polysaccharides and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. Spirulina is at the forefront of the nutritional revolution. With its rich composition and ability to grow even under unfavourable conditions, the microalgae has great potential to become a food source that will help feed the world's population. By integrating spirulina into our diet, we are making a contribution to solving the food crisis. The effect of spirulina? Spirulina is a valuable food. The algae is incredibly rich, a "wholefood". It is believed to contain all the vital substances that the human body needs. The high density of vital substances brings vitality and well-being. The antioxidants can scavenge free radicals and highly reactive oxygen compounds and are therefore important for the maintenance and function of cells. The detailed nutritional values are listed below. What makes our spirulina powder special? Our Spirulina Pacifica has been cultivated in Hawaii for over 25 years(video with flight over the plantation) and is regarded as one of the highest quality spirulina in the world. In a special, oxygen-free drying system, the spirulina is dried very gently so that more nutrients and enzymes are retained - e.g. over 40% more ß-carotene and over 75% more zeaxanthin - than is possible with conventional drying systems. Spirulina Pacifica is grown in open ponds 20 cm deep, a few hundred metres from the Pacific Ocean. To fill the ponds, fresh water is mixed with seawater from a depth of 600 metres, which is rich in minerals and trace elements. The other most important substances for cultivation in terms of quantity are food-grade baking powder (sodium bicarbonate) and carbon dioxide. Food-grade fertilisers are also used. Paddle wheels move the water to provide the algae with uniform sunlight for optimal growth conditions and nutrient uptake. Spirulina from Hawaii is grown without pesticides or herbicides and does not contain any genetically modified organisms. Our spirulina is called Spirulina Pacifica and is a selected strain of Spirulina platensis that has developed over many years of cultivation in Hawaii. Spirulina Pacifica was intensively analysed by molecular biologists at the University of Hawaii. They identified new enzymes that were not found in other Spirulina platensis strains. Tips for use in everyday nutrition The powder is most often mixed with fruit and vegetable juices. Spring water is also very good and promotes maximum absorption. Spirulina can also be added to food like a spice to avoid loss of nutrients, but it should only be heated a little. Spirulina has a unique flavour that blends well with almost anything. If you are not used to the flavour of green foods, it may take some getting used to at first. If you find that your energy is running low during the day, take some spirulina with water and observe how your body feels 1-2 hours later. You will be amazed. Recommended intake Beginners and children: 1-2 g per day Adults: up to 3g per day It is recommended to start with 1 teaspoon (5 g) or slightly less and gradually increase the intake up to 10 g (1 heaped tablespoon) to avoid indigestion. Taking 1 tsp one hour before meals can help to reduce appetite. The dry powder absorbs water from the air, so the packaging should be tightly sealed and stored in a cool, dry and dark place Complementary product recommendations We recommend taking spirulina together with chlorella in a ratio of 2:1. Atlantic dulse powder (lobster seaweed, red algae) in organic & raw food quality We have been stocking a wide and high-quality range of organic Atlantic dulse for many years. This dulse powder from Ireland is the simplest form for detox smoothies. It can also be used to flavour food. We also offer dulse flakes from Ireland and dulse leaves cut from Galicia (Spain). This makes dulse a great snack or a flavourful topping for potato and lentil dishes as well as salads. In recent years, dulse has also become popular as an ingredient in detox smoothies. Dulse is extremely low in calories, fat- and cholesterol-free, rich in minerals as well as vitamin B6, fibre and protein. It has the highest iron content of all sea vegetables. 10g of dried dulse is equivalent to around 100g of fresh dulse. Why use dulse powder Dulse is one of the easiest sea vegetables to use. It tastes mild and spicy and adds flavour and colour to any dish. It is also one of the few purple coloured foods and purple is the colour of spiritual consciousness, the third eye. Irish dulse from wild collection Our dulse is collected wild in the west of Ireland at low tide and harvested by hand. With the help of a cold air drying system, the organic seaweed is dried very gently and in raw food quality. The leaves are then ground into powder. Variants: Due to the different consumption quantities and requirements, we offer dulse powder in 100g and 250g bags. The larger bag is approx. 16.5% cheaper. Use of dulse Dulse has been traditionally harvested for generations and can be eaten straight from the bag or used as an ingredient in smooties. Dulse is also suitable steamed over potatoes or crispy roasted as a snack or with salads and other dishes. As a raw food straight from the bag or in salads (can be rinsed beforehand if necessary). In soups and stews, ideal with pulses and cereal dishes. Add towards the end of the cooking time. Ingredients 100% organic dulse / lobster kelp (Palmaria palmata). Important notes Due to the high mineral content, we recommend a daily ration of 5g. Particular caution is advised for people with thyroid disorders due to the iodine content. Sea vegetables are enjoyed in many coastal regions around the world and enrich most dishes with flavour and nutrients. Sea vegetables contain almost all the minerals and trace elements that the sea has to offer! In general, sea vegetables are an excellent source of calcium, iodine and sodium, a very good source of folic acid and magnesium and a good source of iron, potassium, vitamin B2 and B5. They also contain vitamin K and trace elements such as selenium and chromium, which are often lacking in land vegetables due to depleted soils. Sea vegetables are an ideal substitute for salt in a wide variety of dishes.

After harvesting, the wild-growing organic dulse is dried very gently and in raw food quality using a cold air drying system. They are then ground into flakes. Please note: Due to the wild harvest, small mussels may adhere to the dulse leaves. The producer himself and we check the purity as well as possible when packing into the bags. For safety reasons, we ask you to briefly check the dulse flakes before eating them. Varying consistency (bite resistance) The consistency (firmness) of the dulse flakes can vary depending on the batch and season. This may be due to the time of harvest or the development of the individual plants at the time of harvest. Dulse algae are wild-growing plants. They are generally harvested shortly before flowering so that the plants are still young enough to be sufficiently tender. Prolonged soaking or heating (boiling) reduces the bite strength. How to use dulse flakes? Dulse has been traditionally harvested for generations and can be eaten straight from the bag (rinsed beforehand if necessary) or used as an ingredient in smoothies (e.g. for detox smoothies). Wild organic blueberries - antioxidants and flavour combined To complement our range, we also offer organic blueberry powder from Bosnia. Packed with healthy nutrients like no other fruit - a real superfruit. Why eat dried organic blueberries from wild harvesting? Great snack: delicious and nutritious Wide range of important nutrients and particularly rich in vitamins C, E and B6 as well as iron, fibre and other vital substances such as resveratrol, zeaxanthin, lutein, anthocyanins and other polyphenolic compounds Because they contain such a high amount of phenols, especially gallic acid, blueberries are known as "nerve protectors". According to researchers from Iran, this means that they can literally protect our brains from degeneration, neurotoxicity and oxidative stress. Particularly for a fruit is its high iron content, which boosts energy levels by producing oxygen-rich blood cells throughout the body. In addition, dried wild blueberries contain a very high antioxidant capacity of around 50,000 µmol TE/100g (ORAC value = Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity). For healthy skin Skin care products containing bilberry extract are becoming increasingly popular around the world. It has been reported that the broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals helps to restore hormonal balance, which counteracts acne. This makes blueberries an excellent home remedy for acne. Blueberries also contain resveratrol, a natural sunscreen that can tan your skin. What makes our wild organic blueberries special? 100% natural, gently processed and dried (raw food quality) No preservatives, colourings, sweeteners or other unnatural additives Natural flavour: sweet and sour, fruity and very aromatic Dark purple colour (high quality and purity) and quite dry and crispy Different sizes and origins Dried organic blueberries from wild collection are very difficult to obtain. In northern countries they are also often frozen or freeze-dried. The latest batch of air-dried blueberries comes from Bosnia again and we have packed them in 125g, 250g and 1kg bags. The difference between wild and cultivated blueberries They look almost the same. Both are blue, round and taste great. But what are the differences between these two berries? Wild blueberries compared to cultivated blueberries have a higher vitamin content and a much higher anthocyanin content. Blueberry has become a universal name for blue-coloured berries of the Vaccinium genus, but it is good to know the difference between cultivated blueberries (often called American blueberries or blueberries) and wild blueberries (European blueberries). While cultivated blueberries are grown in various places around the world, wild blueberries grow on small bushes mainly in the northern parts of the Northern Hemisphere. The anthocyanins in the wild blueberry are visible to the eye as blue and red pigments in the flesh, which is juicy and bluish-purple in colour. The cultivated blueberry, on the other hand, has an almost transparent white and somewhat floury flesh. The wild blueberry has certainly been used since the 16th century, both the dried berries and the leaves. Modern interest stems in part from the use of the fruit by British pilots during the Second World War, when pilots noticed that their night vision was better on bombing missions after eating bilberry jam. Nowadays, only garden blueberries (American blueberries) from cultivation are available, which are simply not as good and significantly less rich in vital substances than wild blueberries. How to integrate them into your daily diet? Thanks to their intense, typical blueberry flavour, they are perfect as an addition to muesli, smoothies and as a dessert topping. When making smoothies, we recommend soaking the wild blueberries overnight to make them easier to blend. They also go well in yoghurt (including vegan coconut yoghurt) and honey. A real treat! Wild dried plum halves organic bag The raw, unoiled and unsulphured organic prune halves without stones have a delicious, sweet and sour flavour. They grow wild on the mountain slopes along the old Silk Road from Samarkand (Uzbekistan). The wild plums are gently dried in the sun at below 42°C to preserve their natural flavour and nutrients. They are slightly less soft than most plums, but in terms of flavour and nutritional value, they are the best in the world - if you ask us. To make them softer again, you can simply soak the prunes overnight. Why prunes are healthy? We've never understood why "prune" is a dirty word. Because prunes are a valuable food. Prunes are rich in fibre, which can also help with constipation. They also contain sorbitol, which gives them a mild laxative effect. We therefore recommend not snacking on more than a handful. They also contain potassium, niacin, manganese, iron and the mineral boron, which strengthens bones and muscles. Update: Black mulberries are only comparable to white mulberries to a limited extent. They are less sweet, but more flavoursome, fruity and juicier/stickier. Organic black mulberries black - fruity and delicious Black mulberries have a beautiful and unusually intense purple-black colour. They have been known throughout southern Europe since earliest times and are thought to have been introduced from Persia. It is mentioned by most of the early Greek and Roman writers. In the past, dried black mulberries - known as the king of mulberries - were served at court as a highly exquisite speciality reserved only for the king, queen and esteemed guests. Why consume black mulberries?Delicious and nutritious, natural dried black mulberries are a great snack. They have a wide range of important nutrients, including vitamin C, iron, calcium, fibre, protein and organic compounds, including phytonutrients, zea-xanthin, resveratrol, anthocyanins, lutein and various other polyphenolic compounds. Its high protein and iron content is special for a fruit. The protein content in these super berries makes them particularly nourishing and satisfying, while iron boosts energy levels by producing oxygen-rich blood cells throughout the body. Mulberries are said to be particularly high in antioxidants, which is why they have a reputation as a perfect anti-ageing fruit. Antioxidants neutralise free radicals that can damage the genetic information of our cells. What makes our black mulberries special? Our organic mulberries are 100% natural, carefully processed and dried and contain no preservatives, colourings, sweeteners or other unnatural additives. They come exclusively from Uzbekistan and are grown by the farmers living there, who belong to a large community of 1000 farmers and their families. Our mulberries are harvested by hand when the berries are fully ripe. This ensures the highest nutritional value and freshness. After harvesting, they are carefully washed and gently dried using solar energy. The drying process is very environmentally friendly, with a solar drying method that has a minimal impact on the product. Most berries on the market have added sugar and preservatives. We prefer ours 100% pure, with their wonderful natural flavour. Our black mulberries have a beautiful dark colour, which indicates the quality and purity of the product. Blue and purple foods are very rarely found in modern diets and are so important - black mulberries make eating blue foods a real pleasure. Our organic black mulberries are dark and sticky, but pleasantly soft and large (depending on the harvest). Their flavour is sweet and sour, fruity and very aromatic. How to use black mulberries? Thanks to their intense sweet and sour flavour, they are a delicacy in their own right. They are also perfect as an addition to muesli, smoothies and as a dessert topping. They are a good alternative to dates or sultanas or other dried fruit suitable for sweetening. They go really well in yoghurt (including vegan coconut yoghurt) and honey. A real treat! Update: Due to the shortage of cocoa, the sale of cocoa butter is limited (maximum 6 pieces per size and order). Our aim is to be able to offer Criollo cocoa butter for as long as possible. The best before date of the current batch is 31.03.2027. Cocoa Butter Criollo Chips Organic (100% natural) Why buy cocoa butter chips? Cocoa butter is the solid form of the pure oil from the cocoa bean. The cocoa bean is an amazing food given to us by Mother Nature. It was considered a gift from God by the Aztecs and was used not only as an offering but also as a means of payment. It is estimated that raw cocoa contains more than 300 substances and is one of the foods with the most antioxidants. It enriches many dishes with a wonderful, sensual chocolate flavour and is also excellent for skin care. What makes our Cocoa Butter Criollo Chips special? Our cocoa butter is 100% pure and of raw food quality. Grown in Peru. No chemicals are used either in cultivation or processing. This cocoa butter is the pure, golden oil from cocoa beans. Our cocoa butter is made from the particularly fine and rare Criollo fine flavoured cocoa variety. Fine flavoured cocoa varieties only account for 5-10% of global cocoa production. They grow under similar, often almost natural conditions, as they do not tolerate direct sunlight and thrive alongside other tall rainforest trees. Forestero industrial cocoa, on the other hand, is usually grown in monoculture plantations. In contrast to conventional products, our cocoa butter is never heated above 37°C and therefore has the quality of raw butter. Use of Cocoa Butter Criollo Chips in dishes / for recipes As a high-quality fat, cocoa butter enriches smoothies, desserts and ice creams in particular with a wonderful, sensual chocolate flavour. Ideal in combination with cocoa paste or cocoa powder for fine chocolate creations. Raw cocoa butter has a wonderful, delicate chocolate flavour, is versatile and melts at approx. 35°C in any type of recipe. Use of cocoa butter Criollo Chips for skin care Cocoa butter is also suitable for external use as a valuable skin care product (e.g. for dry skin). Due to its high content of antioxidants and skin-protecting substances, cocoa butter is a natural "fountain of youth" for the skin. With a melting point just below body temperature, you can simply glide a piece of cocoa butter over your skin without the need for any additives. Cocoa butter nourishes, absorbs well and gives dry skin a long-lasting, supple feel. And it has a sensual, aphrodisiac scent. A truly sensual oil with a soft, smooth texture and a mild, floral citrus flavour. Unfortunately, cocoa butter can hardly unfold its precious effect in most conventional cosmetic products. This is due to the small quantity, processing at excessively high temperatures and the addition of chemical additives in skin care products. In contrast to many cosmetic products, including expensive ones, that contain cocoa butter, our raw cocoa butter has been processed or blended without synthetic and harmful chemicals. This allows raw cocoa butter to fully unfold its precious effect for the natural beauty of our skin. Info: Only chips still on offer Due to the shift in demand, we now only offer Criollo cocoa butter as crisps. These crisps (also known as coins or drops) are of the same quality as the previously offered pieces and are also made from cocoa beans of the premium Criollo variety from Peru. The Butter Chips are easier to use/dose because they are always the same size. Size variants We offer Cocoa Butter Criollo Chips in 250g and 500g bags as standard. Do you need large quantities? We are also happy to fill 5kg or 10kg bags on request. Update: The new batch has been slightly delayed, but should be available from 12 June. Psyllium husks (organic) from India | Vegan & gluten-free (100% natural) These small but powerful seed husks are rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals and can enrich your health and diet in many ways. What are psyllium husks and where do they come from? Psyllium husks are the seed husks of the Plantago ovata plant, which is mainly cultivated in India and Pakistan. Why consume psyllium husks? The fibre contained in psyllium husks (flosine mucilage polysaccharides) can bind more than 50 times the amount of water. This leads to an increase in the volume of faeces in the intestine, which in turn stimulates peristalsis (intestinal movement). The mucilage also makes the stool more slippery. Digestive support: The high concentration of soluble fibre in psyllium husks promotes healthy digestion. The husks increase in volume when combined with liquid. Satisfaction and weight management: The husks swell in the stomach and provide a long-lasting feeling of satiety, which can make it easier to control appetite. Regulation of blood sugar levels: The fibre in psyllium husks can help to slow down the rise in blood sugar levels after eating. Lowering cholesterol levels: By binding bile acids, psyllium husks can lower cholesterol levels. What makes our psyllium husks special? Our organic psyllium husks are of raw food quality and have the highest possible degree of purity of 99%, i.e. they can contain a maximum of 1% whole psyllium seeds. The psyllium husks are neutral in flavour. How can psyllium husks be integrated into the daily diet? High-fibre smoothies: Add a tablespoon of psyllium husks to your favourite smoothie and give it an extra portion of fibre. Binding agent in baked goods & for soups, sauces and creams: Ex: Replace eggs in baking recipes with a mixture of water and psyllium husks to make your baked goods vegan and high in fibre. Yoghurt and muesli: Stir the seed husks into yoghurt or muesli to increase the nutritional value of your meal. Use and dosage of psyllium husks Up to 1-2 teaspoons 3 times a day, maximum 20g per day. A typical dosage is 1 to 2 tablespoons per day. Start with a smaller amount and gradually increase it to see how your body responds. For optimal effect, take the psyllium 30 to 60 minutes before a meal or two hours after. Important: Drink 2 glasses of water quickly after ingestion. Organic chia seeds (100% natural) - the little power seeds Chia seeds are an ancient superfood that was used by the Mayas, Aztecs and Incas as early as 3500 BC. They come from the desert plant Salvia hispanica, which grows in southern Mexico. Chia means starch in the Mayan language and was considered "running food" because messengers could run all day long with the help of these tiny seeds. Why consume organic chia seeds? Easy to use: Almost unnoticed, the body gets an extra dose of nutrients and can absorb food much better. At the same time, it gets an extra dose of energy and more well-being for mind and soul. Chia seeds contain many antioxidants that not only scavenge free radicals and highly reactive oxygen compounds. They are important for cell maintenance and function. They help to maintain cell function. The antioxidants also prevent the seeds from spoiling quickly. The seeds are very filling as they absorb ten times their weight in water and form a gel. Athletes all over the world now include chia as part of their diet during training sessions. Chia seeds are rich in high-quality proteins, calcium and omega-3 and have an optimal ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. Last but not least, chia is a very inexpensive, concentrated food. 1/3 cup of dry chia seeds makes 500g of chia gel. Depending on how much gel you use, this 500g will probably last you an average of four days. You really don't need more than 1-2 tablespoons of chia gel per day. What makes our organic chia seeds special? Highest quality Cultivation without pesticides and agrochemicals Processed without the use of heat Purification only via a "shaking process" Use in the daily diet The most common way to eat chia is to soak the seeds first, which then turns into a jelly-like mass. The seeds can absorb a large amount of liquid very quickly, ten times their volume in less than 10 minutes. Chia gel Add 1/3 cup of seeds to 2 cups of water. Stir the mixture and place it in the fridge, tightly covered. A gel (approx. 500g) will form within 10 minutes and can be consumed immediately. A longer soaking time of several hours is advisable, as this makes the nutrients easier to utilise. Chia gel will keep for several days in the fridge and you can use some of it whenever you like. You can add it to smoothies, salad dressings, desserts and mueslis or simply eat it on its own. Whole seeds Sprinkle the dry seeds on salads or add to muesli mixes. You can also try grinding the seeds in a coffee grinder and adding the resulting chia flour to smoothies, soups, bread, etc. Chia sprouts are used similarly to alfalfa sprouts in salads, sandwiches and other dishes. As chia seeds absorb a lot of water, they can lead to dehydration in the body. It is therefore important to drink enough water or - even better - to use seeds that have already been soaked. How much to eat Based on the Food and Commodities Ordinance LGV - Novel Food, the maximum daily intake of chia seeds is 15g (or a maximum of 5% for use in bread products). This amount must not be exceeded. Update: Sale of the current batch with expiry date 30.06.2026 with 67% discount for CHF 10 instead of CHF 31. Organic sunflower lecithin powder with total lecithin complex (100% natural) What makes our sunflower lecithin powder special? Our organic sunflower lecithin powder is a versatile natural emulsifier. Due to its unique structure, it effectively combines fat and water. Sunflower lecithin contains the natural lecithin complex (mixture of various phospholipids) from sunflower seeds. Phospholipids are components of cell membranes, among other things, and play an important role in our entire metabolism. The yellow sunflower lecithin has a neutral flavour and is free from gluten and carriers. It is also generally GMO-free, as no genetic engineering is used in sunflower cultivation (in contrast to soya cultivation). Where and how is our sunflower lecithin powder produced? Our sunflower lecithin powder is produced in China, where the world's only CO2 de-oiling plant is located. The organic sunflower seeds are mechanically pressed to extract the oil. The lecithin is then isolated from the oil by CO2 extraction. The result is a powdered, de-oiled pure lecithin. This process completely dispenses with the use of solvents. How to use sunflower lecithin powder? Sunflower lecithin has a pleasant flavour and is suitable as a food additive for smoothies and muesli as well as an emulsifier. Sprinkle 1 heaped tablespoon (approx. 10g) over muesli or add to smoothies and nut milks. Suitable for chocolate production and for making glacé (ice cream). Can also be eaten on its own. Sunflower lecithin should be stored at room temperature, protected from light and moisture (always seal the bag tightly). Labelling 100% EMULSIFIER ORGANIC SUNFLOWER LECITHIN (E322). Allergic reactions Although it is basically allergen-free, we have received information from a customer who is highly allergic to sunflower seeds that he also has allergic reactions to sunflower lecithin. We therefore recommend that consumers who are allergic to sunflower seeds use sunflower lecithin with caution or avoid it altogether. Possible alternatives would be soya lecithin or almond puree, which also contains lecithin. Uses Sunflower lecithin can be used both as a food supplement and as an emulsifier for drinks. We recommend 1 heaped tablespoon (approx. 10g) as a guide for a smoothie or as an addition to muesli. For the production of almond drink, we recommend 25-40 grams of sunflower lecithin per litre. Dried organic sea buckthorn berries - unsweetened & wild harvested Why buy sea buckthorn berries? An analysis carried out by the retailer provided proof of the sensational amounts of vital substances in sea buckthorn. The berries have a very high omega 7 fatty acid and B12 content. This high content is probably only found in Uzbek wild-collected organic sea buckthorn. Cultivated sea buckthorn generally has much lower levels and vitamin B12 in plant foods is very rare! Dried sea buckthorn contains most of the same vital substances and nutrients as fresh sea buckthorn, only in a more concentrated form because the water has been removed. These wild sea buckthorn berries have an intense, spicy and very tart flavour. They have a strong, intense light to dark orange colour. The flesh surrounds a stone, which is also dried. This results in a crispy consistency. What makes our wild organic sea buckthorn berries special? When fully ripe, the wild sea buckthorn berries are picked by hand, washed and gently dried in the sun. The drying process used is a very environmentally friendly solar drying method that is extremely gentle on the product. The organic sea buckthorn berries are - unsulphurised (in accordance with the EU Organic Regulation)- without artificial additives- without preservatives- without colourings Where do our organic sea buckthorn berries come from? Organic sea buckthorn berries from wild collection are very difficult to obtain. We were able to buy a batch from Ukraine. These wild sea buckthorn berries come from the Lviv region in western Ukraine, close to the Polish border. They are packed in 125g bags. How to integrate them into your daily diet? The dried organic sea buckthorn berries are suitable as a small, refreshing snack or as a varied ingredient in your power muesli. To round off the tart flavour, you can combine the sea buckthorn with nuts and sweet dried fruits such as sultanas. Or you can use a healthy sweetener such as agave, yacon or apple syrup. Hulled hemp seeds - protein-rich power food Hemp seeds are characterised by an unusually high nutrient density. Rich in easily digestible protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre and lecithin in perfect balance for our bodies. Hemp has an optimal functional ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids for humans, which is generally considered to be 4:1. Hemp seeds are therefore an excellent brain food, beautify the skin and promote the oxygen supply to the cells. Hemp seeds are a good food for the supply of EFS, linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. These fatty acids are required for the production of numerous hormones and for cell renewal. They support the functions of the human body to maintain health and contribute to the normal development and growth of the organism. Omega-3 fatty acids are incorporated into the cell membrane and are necessary for its structure and function. Omega-3 fatty acids have an influence on blood lipid regulation. They contribute to health as part of a balanced diet. An ideal food for athletes, as edible hemp builds muscle and increases endurance. Vegetarians also benefit from this rich and high-quality source of protein. In contrast to whole seeds, hulled hemp seeds have a low fibre content. Why we love hulled hemp seeds Hemp seeds are a wonderful gift from nature. Not only are they one of the most nutritious foods on the planet, they are also the most environmentally friendly food ever! Hemp grows easily everywhere, requires no pesticides or herbicides and is suitable for the production of almost everything we need in our modern society: Clothes, paper, biodegradable plastic, fuel, cars, building insulation, just to name a few. In addition, hemp seeds offer outstanding health benefits. They contain all the essential amino acids and essential fatty acids (including the rare gamma-linolenic acid!) that the body cannot produce itself and that are necessary for maintaining healthy human life. Hardly any other plant source contains essential amino acids in such an easily digestible form or essential fatty acids in such an optimal ratio for humans. Because shelled hemp seeds are so rich in important nutrients, we consume plenty of them every day. A feat that is easy to accomplish, as hulled hemp seeds are a delicious and versatile food. SamaraNatura hulled hemp seeds Our hulled hemp seeds are obtained from legal, officially authorised cultivars that are grown in Austria without pesticides or agrochemicals. The omega-3 content in hemp seeds is higher when the plant grows in cooler climates, such as in Germany and Austria. Use of hulled hemp seeds Delicious on their own or sprinkled over salads, soups and other dishes; as an ingredient in smoothies, muesli and desserts. Beginner or child (2-9 years): 15-30 grams per day Teenager (10-18 years): 30-50 grams Adults: 50-75 grams per day Competitive athletes: up to 140 grams per day Hemp seeds should only be eaten raw and should not be cooked with food. As hemp seeds do not contain the enzyme inhibitors typical of many seeds, they can be eaten raw without having to soak them in water first. You can also drink hemp fresh in the form of milk by pureeing the peeled seeds in water and straining them if necessary (see recipe). After harvesting, the spelt grass is immediately dried and ground very gently at body temperature in order to preserve the naturally pure, living biological properties and the effect of this superfood, including all the heat-sensitive enzymes and nutrients. Organic spiced cocoa - produced in Switzerland Update: The current batch is sold out. The new batch will be available in July/August. As the import of Maya spiced cocoa was no longer worthwhile (due to the massive increase in transport costs), we have had our own spiced cocoa produced in Switzerland. The combination of high-quality cocoa and slightly hot spices make this cocoa powder a great experience. The new spiced cocoa has a more intense cocoa flavour than the old one and is slightly more bitter, slightly spicier, more chocolaty, less sweet and has no cinnamon flavour. The brown colour of the new spiced cocoa is slightly lighter. What is spiced cocoa? Our organic spiced cocoa is a coarse-grained chocolate powder consisting of cocoa mass and our Criollo cocoa powder. It is sweetened with raw cane sugar and flavoured with a slightly spicy blend of spices. Local and social production The spiced cocoa is produced by the chocolatiers of the Ancora-Meilestei Foundation in Wetzikon using a special process to achieve the desired consistency. Ingredients Cocoa mass 40%, raw cane sugar 30%, cocoa powder 25%, spice mix 5% (cocoa shells, sweet paprika, cane sugar, chilli, cinnamon, bourbon vanilla, tonka beans). All ingredients are certified organic. Preparation Mix the spiced cocoa into lukewarm plant-based drinks, smoothies, protein shakes and muesli. It also goes well melted as a dessert topping. If you like coconut flavour, then coconut milk with spiced cocoa will taste wonderful. Tip: To ensure that the spiced cocoa emulsifies (combines) well in cold drinks, use a whisk or milk frother wand. This will also produce a nice foam. For an intense cocoa flavour, mix 5 teaspoons (approx. 15g) with 1 cup of hot water or plant-based drink. If you want to use the cocoa for a ceremony, use 40-50g for approx. 2-3dl of water or plant drink. Many people experience euphoric feelings with this amount. This concentrated form was already used by Mayan shamans thousands of years ago as a "drink of the gods". 2 size variants We offer this fine spiced cocoa in two different sizes: 125g, makes 8 cups 250g, makes 16 cups Nutritional information per 100g Energy value 1612 kJ/385 kcalFat 11.4gof which saturated fatty acids 7.0gCarbohydrates 54.6gof which sugar 38.9gDietary fibre 28.5gProtein 16.4gSalt 0.1g

Why consume spirulina tablets (100% natural)? Spirulina is a single-celled, filamentous blue-green algae and one of the first life forms on this planet. Richer in high-quality protein (contains 18 amino acids) than any other food, the microalgae also contains a wealth of vitamins, minerals, important antioxidants such as SOD and phycocyanin, polysaccharides and the rare gamma-linolenic acid. The high density of vital substances brings vitality and well-being. The antioxidants can scavenge free radicals and highly reactive oxygen compounds and are therefore important for cell maintenance and function. The algae is incredibly rich, a "wholefood". It is believed to contain all the vital substances the human body needs and, in combination with chlorella, can provide almost perfect ratios of the most important nutrients!
